Are you making dirty videos on your phone for hubby?

What’s up with the Samsung Galaxy S III commercial where the husband is leaving for a business trip and his wife touches her phone to his phone and gives him a dirty video to watch?

Are you guys making dirty videos for hubby? Are you shooting them with your phone? Are you sharing them on mobile? (Just seems to have bad idea written all over it?)

I SAW that last night lol. I want to say though that I was watching a definite adult show at an adult time, (Sons of Anarchy) that I DVR’ed but I am not for sure. What time and show were you watching? If it’s at a time when young kids are around, it’s inappropriate.

I thought the commercial was kind of cute. Not believable, but cute.

I saw that commercial for the first time during baseball playoffs, when you can assume kids are watching. I was surprised when I saw it and at first thought I misunderstood the innuendo going on. No dirty phone videos here (have you seen how many times celebrity phones, complete with naked pictures, get hacked?), just surprised that commercial was on in primetime.

Which begs the following question. What happens if hubby loses his cell phone and it’s recovered by a complete stranger who now has access to the dirty video?

I thought the commercial was hysterical. But no, I don’t advocate doing that and would never do it myself or pressure someone else too.

I have flashbacks to Chevy Chase’s European Vacation shower video.

No need for videos…there’s plenty of activity and creativeness in our home.

I believe the 1st line of your 2nd paragraph should read “Are you GIRLS making dirty videos for hubby?”

My husband and I haven’t evolved to the point where we use our cell phones for anything other than making phone calls. Maybe you’ve seen me around? I’m that woman who’s NOT constantly staring into the palm of her hand.

I also saw it last night, during the NFL game. My boys have seen it, but they didn’t react. They’re not quite savvy enough to wonder why Dad shouldn’t watch Mom’s video on the plane.

Who says it is a "dirty" video?

“Hostess Brands says it is going out of business, closing plants that make Twinkies and Wonder Bread and laying off all of its 18,500 workers.”

Now what is the moocher class going to eat?

My wife and I are probably more liberal than most that post here especially when it comes to sex and relationships, etc. Without going into too much detail, let’s just say we are not prudes at all. And, while we have not yet ventured into the phone video realm, we have exchanged pics via text. I have zero concern of our iPhones falling into the wrong hands as both lock automatically and will be wiped clean with five incorrect passwords.
And of course, I personally find nothing at all wrong with the commercial.

T can check my email and know that I’m a regular but this is just too embarrassing to put my name to, even a fake one! My hubby spent several years working on a special job about 6 or 8 hours away, and we only saw each other every weekend or every other week. Because of the age of our kids, it wasn’t practical for me to join him at that point. Sooooo, one night, he asks for a picture of my boobs, and since I had been out with some friends and had had a couple of glasses of wine, I decided to send him one. I felt silly doing it, but it’s just my husband, right? First mistake: I didn’t immediately erase the picture from my phone.

A week later, I realized the picture was still there, and went to erase it. I don’t know how it happened, but second mistake: my phone glitched out while I was doing it. (Spare me the jokes about the picture breaking my camera!) I had forgotten that I had an unfinished email to a client who is, luckily, also a friend, and I thought that email went dead. 15 minutes later, she stops by my office, laughing hysterically. .Yep, as the phone had glitched, it attached the photo to the email. Luckily, she has a good sense of humor, and she got a good laugh out of my complete humiliation. There are so many clients that it could have gone to (including men!) so I really lucked out. And told my husband that any future shows would have to be face to face! She said the funniest thing about the whole incident is that I was the last person she would have ever guessed to do something like that!

No videos. I cannot believe a phone company would even suggest such a thing – funny as it is – because people (including teens) have had far too many troubles with these things. The girl who committed suicide because she was bullied at school when it was sent out. No, thanks. Keep it in the bedroom, please.

Re: Hostess. That’s a shame for a long-standing company, but what in the heck were the employees thinking? Maybe their unemployment will be extended, too. *cough*. I was amused at the report of the 100 or so workers that staged a walk-out at Walmart, and are planning a Black Friday walk out. Do they not realize that Walmart management is laughing at them behind their back? For every employee that walks out, they have 10 unemployed people who would jump at their job.

…regarding what the employees at hostess were thinking (can anyone say “Eastern Airlines pilots?) –

I did hear on WSB radio that the management spokesman said that things had deteriorated so badly there that with the draconian measures the company was going to have to take to stay “afloat” the employees will take home more in weekly unemployment pay than they would if the company kept “floating” trying to come out of the bankruptcy…

No videos for us. I’m tech savvy and don’t worry about too much being sent on the internet (pay all my bills online) but the reality is you never know what that other person will do with those photos/videos.

As for Hostess, we should not worry that America’s gluttons will have access to Twinkees and Ding-Dongs, I’m sure they will sell off brands to another company.

…the point of the Hostess deal is not the “brands” loss but the loss of 18,500 jobs by ONE company (though it is caused by union employees with the non-union guys being unwilling to cross the union picket line) – more of the moocher mentality UNION thugs…

That’s the funniest commercial I’ve seen in a while. Granted, I’m a guy…and my wife would be MY HERO if she sent me off on a business trip with that exchange….and all you ladies who would NEVER do that would be a HERO to your husbands if you did too.

The other best commercial ever is the Arby’s commercial where you see a guy lying on his bed and his wife behind the closed door of the bathroom saying something like “I’d only dress up in this for you…” and she comes out in an arby’s uniform.

It’s comedy folks…it doesn’t mean everyone is doing it. In fact it probably represents reality…which is that none of us are doing it…but we suspect and wonder if all our neighbors and friends are.

Twinkies shut down because of the unions. The unions refused the pay structure.

Unions are NO good. They care for no one but themselves. certainly NOT the workers who are bullied into joining. Now there’s going to be another 20,000 people out of work. Good Job Obama, pandering to the unions……more government dependence. that’s what Obama wants. And that’s what you all voted for…..so I don’t want to hear it.

And the unions complaint...

November 16th, 2012

…was an 8% pay cut this year, 4% of which they would get back next year, plus the other 4% the next year, and a a 25% ownership of the company which would give them access to any profit sharing – but they said no, so now they will look to Obuma to care for them, which means we taxpayers will foot the bill…

@Geez – I was making fun of the point that people were lamenting the loss of Twinkies. Poor management of the company, combined with union strong-arming is the reason the company is closing and yet those workers will probably only blame the company. Unions are mostly not needed in America. I see it daily working for a large telecom company. Does someone who sits behind a desk and answer phones really need union representation? Absolutely not. There are no awful working conditions and no one is taking advantage of them. All the union rules do is make the company more inefficient and drive work offshore.

If you work a 40 hour week, have sick leave, paid vacation and maternity leave go kiss a union representative. If you don’t want unions then give up your sick leave, paid vacation, maternity leave and work 18 hours a day for 30 cents an hour, which is what workers did before unions. It’s interesting, I don’t belong to a union, never have belonged to one, but I know who to thank for the priviledges they have provided.

You know, nowhere does it say that it is a dirty video. :) She just says that her husband shouldn’t watch it on the plane. Maybe it is a video detailing the renovations going on at the house, and there is a lot of noise and he doesn’t have headphones, so he would disturb the others on the flight.
I know what was IMPLIED, but for those of you worried that young minds may see it, nothing in the commercial is overt.
But that’s OK, because the comments seem to have devolved into a discussion about unions and Twinkies.

I work a 40 hour week. I have 20 days of paid vacation. I have 10 paid sick days, and 10 paid holidays. NO UNION GOT THAT FOR ME!!!!

I EARNED it by working at the same company for 20 years, with NO Unions. As a matter of fact, in our company handbook, Unions are STRICKLY forbidden. So don’t tell me to kiss a union rep. They can kiss my backside.

yes, the TV commercial “implies” but it is what the viewer infers that makes the difference.

And I work in IT – I have 5 weeks of vacation, 4 floating holidays, paid sick time, etc. and, agree, no union contributed to that or to my salary/grade level.

@Mayhem, while you may not be in a union and no union got you the benefits you enjoy, as a previous poster said above, before labor unions, bosses could force workers to take on dangerous tasks, pay them crap and not allow them sick time or vacation days on pain of being fired. Because decades ago someone stood up and said “no more” most of us today enjoy what you mentioned, such as paid vacation, sick leave, and anything else we modern workers get from our companies.

Yeah, Mayhem...

…ABC is correct in that you totally misunderstood what cobbmom was saying – at the same time, the unions HAVE served their purpose and THEY ARE NO LONGER NEEDED- all they do now is push up prices for American made goods, thus helping send manufacturing jobs overseas, and in this case, down the tubes

C’mon people, it is going to go over the head of younger kids and the older ones know about that option and will act according to their upbringing by their parents. If you are worried about this maybe you should be concerned with how YOU raised your child. It is a great commercial and well written enough to be less of a threat to your children than most advertisements for TV shows that show all the time on prime time tv…ie… (new girl, glee, etc…)

“Dirty” video’s? You women are prudes! No wonder I see so many of your husbands cheating when they travel away from home. If you are a “prudish” stay-at-home mom whose husband travels for business, I can all but guarantee that he has stepped out at least once. Videos like that too easily used as blackmail material, as seen in recent story about Waffle House president/CEO involvement with housekeeper. Do not need to put this kind of stuff on video anyway, unless you are some kind of exhibitionist or have a body like a model. PB….the fact that there was a video invovled in the Waffle House scandal is irrelevant…what was relevant is that it was a film of him and his former housekeeper….who doesn’t happen to be his WIFE!

“do not need to put this kind of stuff on video”……really?? I see you posted this stuff via the internet so you must be somewhat familiar that the net is FILLED with “this kind of stuff”. And you might be surprised at the amount of it where those being filmed are not model material and how mauch of a market there is to see average folks getting it on.
