Are you making dirty videos on your phone for hubby?

What’s up with the Samsung Galaxy S III commercial where the husband is leaving for a business trip and his wife touches her phone to his phone and gives him a dirty video to watch?

Are you guys making dirty videos for hubby? Are you shooting them with your phone? Are you sharing them on mobile? (Just seems to have bad idea written all over it?)

I SAW that last night lol. I want to say though that I was watching a definite adult show at an adult time, (Sons of Anarchy) that I DVR’ed but I am not for sure. What time and show were you watching? If it’s at a time when young kids are around, it’s inappropriate.

I thought the commercial was kind of cute. Not believable, but cute.

I saw that commercial for the first time during baseball playoffs, when you can assume kids are watching. I was surprised when I saw it and at first thought I misunderstood the innuendo going on. No dirty phone videos here (have you seen how many times celebrity phones, complete with naked pictures, get hacked?), just surprised that commercial was on in primetime.

Which begs the following question. What happens if hubby loses his cell phone and it’s recovered by a complete stranger who now has access to the dirty video?

I thought the commercial was hysterical. But no, I don’t advocate doing that and would never do it myself or pressure someone else too.

I have flashbacks to Chevy Chase’s European Vacation shower video.

I believe the 1st line of your 2nd paragraph should read “Are you GIRLS making dirty videos for hubby?”

My husband and I haven’t evolved to the point where we use our cell phones for anything other than making phone calls. Maybe you’ve seen me around? I’m that woman who’s NOT constantly staring into the palm of her hand.

I also saw it last night, during the NFL game. My boys have seen it, but they didn’t react. They’re not quite savvy enough to wonder why Dad shouldn’t watch Mom’s video on the plane.

My wife and I are probably more liberal than most that post here especially when it comes to sex and relationships, etc. Without going into too much detail, let’s just say we are not prudes at all. And, while we have not yet ventured into the phone video realm, we have exchanged pics via text. I have zero concern of our iPhones falling into the wrong hands as both lock automatically and will be wiped clean with five incorrect passwords.
And of course, I personally find nothing at all wrong with the commercial.

T can check my email and know that I’m a regular but this is just too embarrassing to put my name to, even a fake one! My hubby spent several years working on a special job about 6 or 8 hours away, and we only saw each other every weekend or every other week. Because of the age of our kids, it wasn’t practical for me to join him at that point. Sooooo, one night, he asks for a picture of my boobs, and since I had been out with some friends and had had a couple of glasses of wine, I decided to send him one. I felt silly doing it, but it’s just my husband, right? First mistake: I didn’t immediately erase the picture from my phone.

A week later, I realized the picture was still there, and went to erase it. I don’t know how it happened, but second mistake: my phone glitched out while I was doing it. (Spare me the jokes about the picture breaking my camera!) I had forgotten that I had an unfinished email to a client who is, luckily, also a friend, and I thought that email went dead. 15 minutes later, she stops by my office, laughing hysterically. .Yep, as the phone had glitched, it attached the photo to the email. Luckily, she has a good sense of humor, and she got a good laugh out of my complete humiliation. There are so many clients that it could have gone to (including men!) so I really lucked out. And told my husband that any future shows would have to be face to face! She said the funniest thing about the whole incident is that I was the last person she would have ever guessed to do something like that!

I was amused at the report of the 100 or so workers that staged a walk-out at Walmart, and are planning a Black Friday walk out. Do they not realize that Walmart management is laughing at them behind their back? For every employee that walks out, they have 10 unemployed people who would jump at their job.

That’s the funniest commercial I’ve seen in a while. Granted, I’m a guy…and my wife would be MY HERO if she sent me off on a business trip with that exchange….and all you ladies who would NEVER do that would be a HERO to your husbands if you did too.

The other best commercial ever is the Arby’s commercial where you see a guy lying on his bed and his wife behind the closed door of the bathroom saying something like “I’d only dress up in this for you…” and she comes out in an arby’s uniform.

It’s comedy folks…it doesn’t mean everyone is doing it. In fact it probably represents reality…which is that none of us are doing it…but we suspect and wonder if all our neighbors and friends are.

Twinkies shut down because of the unions. The unions refused the pay structure.

Unions are NO good. They care for no one but themselves. certainly NOT the workers who are bullied into joining. Now there’s going to be another 20,000 people out of work. Good Job Obama, pandering to the unions……more government dependence. that’s what Obama wants. And that’s what you all voted for…..so I don’t want to hear it.

And the unions complaint...

…was an 8% pay cut this year, 4% of which they would get back next year, plus the other 4% the next year, and a a 25% ownership of the company which would give them access to any profit sharing – but they said no, so now they will look to Obuma to care for them, which means we taxpayers will foot the bill…

@Geez – I was making fun of the point that people were lamenting the loss of Twinkies. Poor management of the company, combined with union strong-arming is the reason the company is closing and yet those workers will probably only blame the company. Unions are mostly not needed in America. I see it daily working for a large telecom company. Does someone who sits behind a desk and answer phones really need union representation? Absolutely not. There are no awful working conditions and no one is taking advantage of them. All the union rules do is make the company more inefficient and drive work offshore.

If you work a 40 hour week, have sick leave, paid vacation and maternity leave go kiss a union representative. If you don’t want unions then give up your sick leave, paid vacation, maternity leave and work 18 hours a day for 30 cents an hour, which is what workers did before unions. It’s interesting, I don’t belong to a union, never have belonged to one, but I know who to thank for the priviledges they have provided.

You know, nowhere does it say that it is a dirty video. :) She just says that her husband shouldn’t watch it on the plane. Maybe it is a video detailing the renovations going on at the house, and there is a lot of noise and he doesn’t have headphones, so he would disturb the others on the flight.
I know what was IMPLIED, but for those of you worried that young minds may see it, nothing in the commercial is overt.
But that’s OK, because the comments seem to have devolved into a discussion about unions and Twinkies.

@Mayhem, while you may not be in a union and no union got you the benefits you enjoy, as a previous poster said above, before labor unions, bosses could force workers to take on dangerous tasks, pay them crap and not allow them sick time or vacation days on pain of being fired. @becky….since when is keeping the sex life fun a “need”. I’m sure you don’t feel the “need”. I’m sure your husband doesn’t feel the “need”. but I bet you anything he’d “like” to…and I’m sure your “if you don’t like what you’re getting now then just leave and find someone else” attitude makes him too scared to tell you.

Try this….ask him if he’d ever like to make a video with you…or be the photographer of you doing a playboy like spread. Let him know that there is no way you’re signing up for it. But tell him you’d really like him to be honest with you and tell you if that would turn him on. When he says yes…watch the disappointment in his eyes when he realizes you were just really asking out of curiosity and there’s not shot of it happening….and if he says no…..well then take a good look at him because that’s what he looks like when he’s lying.

@ Who knos what evil,

I agree there is a lot of this “stuff” on the Internet, but that does not mean I have to like it. So I guess that makes me a “prude” to some… And I know the Wafle House guy was not married to the woman involved. But that is how videos can get used for “bad” purposes. Why put something that personal out there, that could possibly be seen by whole world? But a lot of things go on in the world that I do not understand or agree with… Too bad.

who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men

November 16th, 2012
3:32 pm

@PB….all I’m saying is that for as much of it that is out there…that is the tip of the iceberg of the stuff that ISN’T out there. And I don’t think you’re a prude for not liking it, but I don’t think others are “dirty” for liking it. If it’s not your thing because you have self body image issues or you don’t like the visual aesthetic of people being sexual…that’s not prudish to me. What’s prudish to me is when people actually do like the look and feel of things but they can’t reconcile that and won’t indulge in them just because only “dirty” people do that kind of stuff.

I can count only a few men, and those were usualy gay men, that didn’t indulge in one way or another, especially anywhere in Asia (like Thailand, Hong Kong and Malaysia), and also Brazil. When trying to win business from a foreign client, you would likely be very surprised.

Unless of course they continue to make the same decisions that lead them into bankruptcy in the first place…25% of nothing=nothing…except the 8%salary reduction they objected to in the first place.

I see nothing wrong with pictures and videos. My friend has an app on his iphone that he says hides pics and videos that you don’t want access to behind a password. Don’t ask me what it is because I don’t know. I don’t send anything that would embarrass my mama but he does like sexy pics in undies and when I’m feeling sexy I’ll send him one as a surprise. He’s taken a video of us but no one would know who it is based on the angle. He likes to watch it when we’re apart. I say go for it.

Sorry STL...

As the old song says, nothin’ from nothin’ is nothin’, but something from nothing could be good – but not now…

You’re asking this question and you won’t even let your kids watch a scary movie?

Please…can someone tell me how to get a copy of the videos? I think I speak for all men when I say I certainly don’t want Hillary making any videos.
