Has your wife started watching UEFA soccer tournament?

Has your wife developed a sudden interest in the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) soccer games that have been playing on TV last week and this week?

If so, she may be watching for some of the same reasons that I am  — the super hot European men!

I do enjoy soccer, and I find it relaxing. You can do other things while it’s on and then look up when everyone goes crazy. And they always show a replay.

But what I started noticing last week was all the unbelievably sexy guys on the field, and in particular  the ESPN soccer analyst Michael Ballack, a German soccer player not in the tournament. (See his photo on the ajcmomania Facebook page. I don’t own the rights to the shot so I couldn’t use it on the blog.)

My husband doesn’t mind that I’m ogling players and the ESPN analyst for multiple reasons. First off I don’t complain about hours of games. Second off it puts me in a frisky mood for later. All good for my Michael.

When I admitted my new crush on Facebook, other ladies chimed in that they are watching soccer for similar reasons – although from different countries. Some ladies like the pale guys from the North while I prefer the swarthy guys of Italy and Spain.

Have you been watching the UEFA tournament? Are you into the hot European players? Does your husband mind? What about Ballack?

Husbands have you noticed your wives watching the European soccer? Are there certain sports she likes more than others just based on the participants?

Soccer…not so much.

Certainly the reason I know so much about Baseball has to do with the men that play.

FCM — send me a note with what you want to talk about on the gay TV characters. I was starting to write it up but not sure what angle you want us to hit. you can email me through facebook or to the ajcmomania@gmail.com account —

I just wrote the IEP one though and I think it’s going to be helpful — I actually just went to a seminar last week on IEPs so i have some tips from education advocates — I’ll run that on in the morning.

Can’t say I’ve been paying attention to soccer, but I admit to watching men’s tennis for the same reason. And let’s not forget the summer Olympics are coming up soon, too!

…this is a blog for moms (usually women), yet this particular blog topic starts out “Has your wife developed a sudden interest in the Union of European Football Association (UEFA) soccer games that have been playing on TV last week and this week?”

Am I the only one confused? O,r has this turned into a mainly lesbian entrenched readership?

TWG I will write you either tonight or tomorrow morning.

Someone on the last posting said we absolutely cannot talk about it they want to keep it clean and safe. I certainly do not want a discussion that turns into bashing. I do have a couple of thoughts on the angle and think I have narrowed it down to just one.

I am confused — well I get accused of not writing for the men on the blog so this one is for them — i guess I could have phrased it are you watching all the hot soccer players — thought more fun aimed at the hubbies –

Consider: a man writing a column about men watching an espn cheerleading competition or women’s olympic swimming or volleyball, and commenting how the hardbodied hotties got them frisky for their wives.

Amen to Michael Ballack!!! UEFA Euro 2012 has definitely captured this Texas lady’s attention. Good to know I’m in good company. Seriously, if you’re not tuned in, you’re missing something.

I’ve been watching the Euro 2012 but not to lust over the players. My oldest has played the game for years and as a family we enjoy watching and discussing the games. We are planning to attend the next World Cup for my sons high school graduation gift!

I am watching most of the games (as much as work allows). I am rooting for my home country, Germany.
I enjoy watching soccer, my boys have played for years. Even coached a few.
By the way, check out Mario Gomez from Germany.

Momrules — we enjoyed the last world cup so much!!! I am excited about it coming again but two years seems so far away so in the mean time am enjoying the UEFA and looking forward to the Olympics.

Kim — glad you agree — check out the shot of him I posted on Facebook — he looks amazing – I literally made it my screen saver!!

I’m watching the games like crazy and my wife is mostly rolling her eyes, but during the last World Cup we watched together some, and we ended up playing a game called “spot the ugly footballer.” (Spoiler: it was almost impossible.)

Hell No!
It would be time to call the mental professionals if that ever happened. She is engages in activities that are MUCH more exciting, like watching paint dry. Plus, her fantasies don’t extend to Euro metrosexuals. She is rather fond of real men.

Yes, the men are hot, and unlike American football players who are covered up head to toe, you can see their faces and bodies very well since they wear almost no padding except maybe shin guards.

I have been watching soccer since I was a kid. There is at least two or three good looking guys on each team. My personal favorite, Steven Gerrard on the English squad. I have been in love with him for years.
My husband could really careless although he does roll his eyes when I say something about one of the guys.
