Will your man show his ‘heavage’ this holiday season?

In light of yesterday’s blog topic – storing things in your cleavage – I can’t help but share this trend with you.

While Googling cleavage yesterday afternoon multiple NEW stories popped up about the trend of male cleavage – referred to as heavage. Apparently, man cleavage is in this season! (Guys, pull out your V-necks and open neck dress shirts.)

New York magazine reports that the male cleavage trend is based on beefier male models being used on runways and they are showing off their pecs. So male cleavage is back!

Here are some stories on the trend just posted yesterday:

New York: Hey, Men, Get Your Boobs Out!

Wall Street Journal:  More men have something they want to get off their chests – their shirts

Gawker: Sexy Men are happy to show off their chests

Huffington Post: Man Cleavage is back!

So, are you IN to the man cleavage – also known as heavage? Do you want your honey unbuttoned and baring all this holiday season? What’s their chest hair situation – the stories say …

Do your store items in your cleavage?

Last weekend I was watching an episode (OK several episodes) of TLC’s very addictive “What Not To Wear.” On the show hosts Clinton Kelly and Stacy London ambush poor women who dress shabbily and whisk them away to New York for a $5,000 shopping spree as long as they’re willing to show their terrible outfits on TV and then throw them away.

In this particular episode (episode 9), the hosts wondered why they never saw Bailey (the woman being ambushed) with a purse in hand.

Bailey answered quite honestly that she carried her stuff in “her girls,” as she referred to her breasts.

Clinton and Stacy were shocked and appalled.

I was thinking I do that all the time!

I don’t know if it’s a mom thing because your boobs get so much bigger after having babies or if it’s because you’re wearing bigger bras, but there’s all kinds of convenient storage going on in between my cleavage.

I regularly stick my cell phone down there if I don’t have a pocket and often my keys will be fished out from …

Why do husbands cheat? Do you stay for the kids?

While Tiger Woods has NOT admitted to having an affair, he just made a statement that he has let his family down with “transgressions” he regrets “with all of my heart,” and that he will deal with his personal life behind closed doors.

The Associated Press reports:

His statement Wednesday follows a cover story in Us Weekly magazine that reports a Los Angeles cocktail waitress claims she had a 31-month affair with the world’s No. 1 golfer.

“I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves,” Woods said on his Web site. “I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” he said.

“I will strive to be a better person and the husband and father that my family deserves,” Woods said. “For …

How’s your sex drive? Low desire common for women

Want to have sex?

Many women would answer that question “NO!” and Dr. Lori Brotto is determined to find out why women often have such low sexual desire.

More than any other sexual problem — the elusiveness of orgasm or pain during sex — women feel plagued by low desire. Brotto says, between 7 and 15 percent of all young and middle-aged women —ages 20 and 60 — feel distressed over the absence of desire. And it can just show up one day even when you haven’t had problems in the past.

A recent article in The New York Times Magazine examined the issue of low sexual desire.  From the story:

“Next to nothing is known, she adds, about a host of basic questions, like whether most women with the condition have been affected from the start of their sexual lives or became afflicted during the course of adulthood. She estimates that the hundreds of cases she has seen are divided about equally between the two categories but laments that there are no studies to supply a solid answer. Little …

Only a man would say a gift card is the best gift!

My Christmas-hating husband ran across a recent column by George Will that he could really get behind – a column that suggests that for financial reasons and the health of the economy the best gift for Christmas is a gift card!

Here’s how Will explains the gift card theory in his syndicated column in The Washington Post:

” ‘Scroogenomics: Why You Shouldn’t Buy Presents for the Holidays’ comes from a distinguished publisher, Princeton University Press, and an eminent author, Joel Waldfogel of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton business school. He says that the crux of Yuletide economics, which common sense suggests and research confirms, is:

“Gifts that people buy for other people are usually poorly matched to the recipients’ preferences. What the recipients would willingly pay for the gifts is usually less than the givers paid. The measure of the inefficiency of allocating value by gift-giving is the difference between the yield of satisfaction per dollar spent on gifts …
