Try a dash of Apple Cider Vinegar in their water, just enough so you can barely taste it and this will reduce the smell. It's great for mice and rats too. We used to have a pet shop and got regular complaints about the smell. Not after we used the vinegar. As far as pretend guinea pigs AKA Zhu Zhu Pets I found them at Amazon.com for the proper retail price by using some free software that tracks your item and alerts you the minute it comes in. It's like being at the front of the line every time you shop there. The web site is www.ezgifttracker.com. The tutorial is great and the software is quick and easy to use. Bargain!!!!
