Anatomy of a good date

Believe it or not, some of us have never experienced a great date. We have been on lots of bad, boring, or blah dates, but great? Not many of us can say that. A really great date doesn’t have to be over the top or costly, either. I think that the ingredients of a great date is: location (conducive to conversation), chemistry (serious attraction sparks), and laughter!

What do you think makes up a great date? What are things that make a date miserable?

Do you think you have to plan great dates or do they just happen spontaneously?

yep, but I’m asking, making an offer that can be refused, not “cop a feel” like I’m trying to get away with something.

-Leggs I appreciate that you’re money savvy enough to spend & save wisely! Some folks would lose their mind with that extra money, especially with Thanksgiving & Black Friday coming up.

Exiled – I don’t have any trouble admitting to anything I did or do. Due to my upbringing, though, a dude would have to do alot more than buy me something to influence my feelings for him or what I might do with him physically. I’m accustomed to nice things and food was plentiful so no using a dude for a free meal. I didn’t accept expensive gifts from guys I was not already quite serious with anyway. So dudes always had to “bring it” in other ways to impress me. You couldn’t step to me with BS, so alot didn’t make the cut. :)

I know I might sound a little boughie or beyotchy, but either you get me or you don’t!!LOL!!

speaking of black Friday – and I hate to be the one to change the subject but whatever – do any of y’all have any favorite online retailers. not mainstream, run of the mill stores but unique little spots that you pick up a little something something from every now and again.

-Disco/Leggs That’s what I mean, stashing some for a rainy day. Things happen & it’s good to be in a financial position to handle it with no problems without any other financial obligations falling behind.

SN: I DON’T do Black Friday, not into large groups of unorganized people! I prefer to shop in stores when barely anyone is in there, much more peaceful. However, I get down on Cyber Monday!!! Amazon has been my friend for years, LOL!!!

Leggs, that was her ploy to get moved….she knew pops would get her medical attention to keep her alive….and she had no other weapons with which to work, so she had to think on her feet…..and you saw she ultimately escaped….I applaud her wit, and flight or fight technique….

Exiled – My aunt got a speeding ticket coming back from visiting my grandmother down in south Ga. 414$ I am surprised she was not more careful, cause you gotta watch those cops going thru some of those small towns. And the speed limit changes in spots – it might be 55, then change to 45 for a half mile, then back to 55, etc. They are slick!

I don’t recall ever getting a speeding ticket. I got a ticket for an expired tag once. Bday in December and I got stopped in February. It completely slipped my mind. The officer believed me because I was in shock that I forgot about it. He was shocked that I wasn’t stopped before then.

leggs – a friend of mine got stopped for expired tags. she said the cop kept asking her if there was any reason why it slipped her mind. it took her a minute to catch on that he was trying to help her out. when she did catch on she ran down all her business. lol. told the man she was stressed, going through a divorce, her teen daughter was pregnant and on and on. dude told her to take care of it and wished her a good evening. lol.

2C – my son says his student id gets him a pass when he gets pulled over. he said just the license and registration got him the full kit and caboodle where they run your name and tags and all that. when one officer glimpsed his student id while he was retrieving his license he let him go. after that, he always makes sure they see the student id. daggone shame.
