Best cuisine for dates?

I found out that a guy purposely selected a rib joint for our first date to test my girly quotient.  That’s right, if I couldn’t handle getting my fingers dirty on a date, then I wasn’t his kind of girl (I had to fight the urge to insert a dirty joke here!).  In fact, I suspect that a lot of guys want to see how women handle awkward situations when it comes to food.

Seriously, guys? What is that about?  Picking a restaurant that has messy foods make it hard for women to be all sexy.  Unless watching a woman rip meat off a buffalo wing gets you going, why would you pick a wing place for a romantic date? Am I missing something?

What are the best foods, cuisines and restaurants that would be ideal for a romantic date?  Is there some place or some food that can be messy and sexy at the same time?

Have you ever picked a really bad place to eat for a date?  Do men really pay attention to how a woman eats her food on a date? Ladies, do you judge a guy by the restaurant he picks for the two of you to dine?

Happy Friday!

I liked the movie. Ending was understandable, but I thought there would be more to the end.

MsAtl – I definitely agree that this trial has brought out the ugly in people. It boggles my mind…it really does. I don’t understand it all. To me, it is one “racist” man who killed a “suspicious” man. Why is the whole country up in arms? Unjust murders (what murders aren’t unjust) are done every day. White against black, black against white, white on white, black on black.

If Zimmerman walks, why should I be to blame because I’m white? Not saying that will happen, but it’s a great possibility. Maybe I’m just naïve about it all.

Anyway…I’m glad I can feel comfortable talking about this a little in here…

I gotta head out. Have a great weekend everyone!

Honestly Bluz, the outrage comes from the fact that he was not arrested until there was outrage, thus he had ample time to possibly manufacture evidence and concoct a story. Everyone has their own opinions about what really happened, but that does not make it fact; we may never know what really happened.

What was suspicious about a teenager going to the store buying some skittles and tea, walking back home in the neighborhood is father lived in?

Mrs. SexyC ~ Zimmerman was pumped and wanted to exert his imagined cop skills. The fact that the operator told him to not pursue and he decided to ignore was evident he was trigger happy. His premise that all black kids wearing hoodies were thugs is preposterous. He couldn’t fathom that his kind lived in the neighborhood.

cba – I actually found the defense tactic of presenting an overweight George Zimmerman extremely shrewd on their part. Even in all of its despicableness, it is brilliant.

Leggs – I have a wanna be cop that works for me. One of these departments around here lets him do ride-alongs. Somehow, he even ends up testifying at trials. I have no idea how that works.

But..um..yeah…whatever…he’s a good enough kid.

And I actually think that his experience in my department will help him when it comes to matters of race. (At least I hope so…) But…that’s a whole other Oprah…

Mrs. SexyC ~ some wannabe cops actually are in training and are taking steps to become an officer. Some wannabe cops are trigger happy individuals who cannot pass the exam but believe they are cop material. They are the dangerous ones.

slim you may not see this due to i am unable to chat at work. but like an orange i have to peal the skin off each slice its like film and i dont like the texture of certain things , so i pick stuff off. I can not recall what i was eating that the guy made a comment on , maybe i was picking onions out of my food (which i do all the time)
I am funny when it comes to food — i like nuts but not in my ice cream on cakes etc. i don’t like my creamy food mixed up with the crunchy food and so on..

Don’t know if anyone is still on here. I just wanted to reiterate that I put suspicious in quotes. I don’t think there is anything suspicious about a teen in a hoodie. Hell, I’ll wear a hoodie! That doesn’t make me suspicious.

I’m not at all defending GZ…he shouldn’t have killed TM. It’s a true tragedy. Only GZ knows what exactly happened and no matter what, he’ll be living with it for the rest of his life!!!

Have a good weekend everyone!
