Can you date someone without lying?

A lot of people become cynical about love and relationships because they usually bring some type of conflict. The way you handle that conflict lets you know a lot about your long-term potential. A common issue is honesty. That seems to trip a lot of people up.

Why is it so difficult to be honest and have full disclosure when you are dating someone? If you ask a question, why is it difficult to get a real answer? My friend Sean says that you can’t date someone without lying. Whether it is lying by omission, half-truths, or little white lies- it is something we just contend with in dating and relationships to make it work. Do you agree?

I have a hard time believing that a good relationship can operate with lies. I definitely don’t want a dating relationship to start based on lies! Maybe I’m being unrealistic? How hard is it to hear the truth?

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

We straight from the hip shooters don’t walk around being mean or rude. Like others have said, you get what you give. Generally, I’m a nice person (so I’ve been told), but come at me wrong, I can go toe to toe.

disco ~ exactly. Being a Yankee doesn’t mean you’re from one of the 5 boroughs!

Coming back up from the cafe, I saw a chick that works on the floor where there’s a gang of folks (mostly women). I can just see folks now. It was a nice arrangement I must say. If there any group that does show and tell, it’s definitely that entire floor.

I don’t recall hearing “make groceries.” Unless you have a farm and a butcher shed, I don’t get why some say “make groceries.” Much like “fixing to go,” I’m going somewhere or I’m about to go, I ain’t “fixing” nada (lol).

Definitely not true. Everyone not involved in a relationship is in a dour mood. It’s simply Thursday to them (lol).

ex – naw. I don’t think that’s me reflecting my single-ness. I won’t say it’s inappropriate I’ll just say I don’t get it. coupled up or not I wouldn’t walk around wishing folks a happy valentine’s day. I’d be more likely not to acknowledge it at all. after all, it’s a personal holiday more so than a general holiday. I could see a co-worker on the phone wishing their S/O a happy vday but a client? naw. I’m not feeling that one.

There is a chick in my office that is miserable and she purposely wore black today so she could BAH HUMBUG all day long. This is the same chick that tried to convince another co-worker to leave her hubby and allow her to move in with her so they could start going out together. lol

Celisea

I tell y’all, there are the pros and cons to being in a “self starter” role, where your managers is miles away and you can pretty much come and go as you please. You better be dern straight that you’re accountable for EVERYTHING.

There is soooo much information downstreamed to us as a team and it’s almost information overload. And trust me, my manager will call you on it and give you a handslap if you can’t answer or don’t sound like you know what you’re talking about. This company is so big, most time looking for polices and stuff is sometimes like looking for a needle in a haystack. Most times though, for the job, you need to have the policies handy. Pros and cons folks, pros and cons. Right now, listening, I’m feeling all cons….lololololol

It’s all good, I’m grateful to have a job :)

And my manager is sooooo not about coddling. Sink or swim. She gets aggitated if you ask her too many questions. Cause she feels like, for the role you ought to know where you’re going or at least how to get yourself there.

She’s young too! John Hopkins grad

This company is so big, most time looking for polices and stuff is sometimes like looking for a needle in a haystack. Most times though, for the job, you need to have the policies handy.

Chile talk about policies…we have to have one for everything as well….either a policy or a protocol and if there is no protocol you’d better get with your team and come up with one…our accreditation is crucial so we’ve definitely got to dot our i’s and cross our t’s…

Okaaaay, I’m so glad you understand. Some days it’s brutal up in here, in this regard. Cause clients LOOOOOOVE to drop, “where’s it written.” So, before you do, transact, act, state, imply….you better be dern sure.

Seeing Publix all decked up in Vday goods I just had to represent ,buying a heart shaped box set of chocolate and champagne for Queen, just becoz!!
