Dating Debate: Are men pickier?
If I had a magic wand that could grant single women something they could use (I decided not to make a dirty joke here. You’re welcome) – it would be the gift of being choosy. That’s right, women who decide to become more selective often have better dating experiences. Don’t argue with me, it’s true!
I realized a long time ago that smart men screen a lot better than some women. I don’t know if it is because women are hard wired to be nurturing and understanding, or at times we just get stuck on stupid. Women are often criticized for having checklists, but if we really adhered to those, would men even get anywhere with women?
Why does it seem harder for women to be pickier than our male counterparts? I have seen dudes dismiss a woman with the incorrect butt-to-waist ratio. Ladies? Oh, we forgive physical imperfections, extra pounds, bad credit, and at times bad hygiene!
But…WHY?
Is it because women watch too many romantic comedies, or read too many romance novels? Why do we buy the books about finding love, listen to random people telling women why they can’t keep a man? Should women just become like men and be more selective?
From your own experiences and observations, who do you think is more pickier – women or men? How does this play out on the dating scene?

It doesn’t matter what number your weight is…it matters how it’s distributed and how you carry it. I’ve told people close to me my weight and they were shocked.

bluz – I agree and disagree. it doesn’t matter if you carry weight well. it definitely matters if you are walking around looking all scraggly and stank. and I say that for overweight and underweight because thin doesn’t always look good. a lot of thin folks look hungry or high. not a good look.

Scraggly and stank is one thing…knowing your body and what looks good on it is another.
I don’t understand why so many big girls feel the need to wear small clothing that clings to their rolls or shows their skin!!! I’m not a skinny girl, but I’m not huge…I know what looks flattering on me.

A few years ago, I use to have one on my team that was like 230 or so…. But she was really cute and was a real bedroom trooper!!! She was even down to have another girl play with us on occasion…. She was a real keeper…….

courtside – 230 is nice sized but how tall? there’s a big difference between 5’3” 230 and 5’10” 230. I topped out at around 6’5” 270. this guy though was on point with his though. my friend that I mentioned last week who is currently 6’4 280 has definitely let himself go. he looks straight sloppy.

disco, she was 5′6″ or so….. limber with great hands!!!! She use to have one of those platform beds that was really low to the ground, more than once we bounce off the bed and onto the floor….. She use to like to record our sessions and we would watch them after… all that would do was get her gassed up for another session…..

I dated a fat girl, about 5′2″ and 180. She had such a major rack that she looked properly proportioned, and I’m not even going to try and describe the whoopow. Fun fun. Now and then, though, I’d catch a glimpse of our reflection together while out and about, in a store window or something, and be like “what is wrong with this picture” — as a couple, not even proportional. And crazy, which is what did the deal in.

I have knocked down a few Silver Backs in my day. They definitely try harder, but you can’t do as much with them. I do remember this one, I have no idea how much she weighed, but each a$$ cheek had to be a foot and a half wide. She was the cousin of one my potnahs. She was in the city on like a six month business project. He had a function and I met her there. She was at me hard. She boost him up to step to me on her behalf. He talkin bout, “Dog, My cousin dig you.” I’m like; “No sh&^t, ya think”. He went on to convince me to take one for the team. Of course he sweetened the deal by telling me how much bread she was making. Anyway, I rode back with her to her spot, she showed out….I did my best. One thing that stands out, on the ride back to my whip, she stopped by Taco Bell and ordered a bunch of food, then looked at me and said, “ you want something?…….Naw, I’m straight…… I actually snuck and hit her a few more times after that.

I’ve dated a big guy before. Honestly, if it had not been for the fact that we knew each other since elementary (bad boy likes “good girl”) I probably would not have even given him a whiff. Not exactly happy with his package but he worked it like no tomorrow. So at least he wasn’t lazy in bed.
And given the fact that a lot of fat dudes are assumed to have smaller guns and Slim Jim’s presumably have been blessed with guns a-blazing …my initial preference would be the latter. Not only that, it just seems tailored – made to fit without playing hide and go seek.
