When you decide to focus all your efforts on someone you are interested in, how persistent are you willing to be? I ask because it seems that often times we are quick to cut the person off if they start to become challenging.
Do you believe that being persistent and maintaining pursuit means you come off as desperate or thirsty? If you really like the person the more you pursue them, is it worth it to keep up the same effort?
I know a guy who has pursued the same woman for a year and has not shown any reciprocity. He has become a good friend – at best, but is willing to wait for her. Persistent or deluded?
If you ever find yourself stuck in the friend zone, would you try your chances and hope that being their friend will pay off for you later?

What mother drags dudes over her little infant girl? Halle got issues. she needs to work on self before jumping in and out time and time again with all these different dudes. IJS The happiness, I’m guessing she’s so badly in need of and hunting for, should first begin with within.

Yeah, I heard it was Wesley also. On the fight issue, from what I read, daddy returned child, fiance told him it was time to move on, daddy shoved fiance, fight started, result= neck injuries, head injuries, concussions, multiple cuts & contusions, they end up two doors from each other in the ER & daddy is arrested & slapped with a restraining order. At first blush, I would say that fiancee should not have handled the child hand-off; not his place. Otherwise, daddy should have just went on & not reacted. Bad behavior all around. Great job “adults!”

ms atl – I don’t do facebook. have to get my drama fix the good old fashioned way (word of mouth). so far I haven’t come up with much though, guess folks were chilling this holiday. a friend and his stepmom got into it and another friend’s sister got so drunk that she passed out on her mother’s front lawn and her mother sat on the porch and let her lay there, wouldn’t even let anyone else help her up. I guess that’ll teach her. lol.

Comon-are they just stupid, or have no fundamental understanding of the Criminal Justice System.
Case and point, I was once in a situation where I was at a party that was disbanded by the Police, who stated everyone had to leave, lets just say I had been drinking. So as people are filing out he looks at me and says you too. My response, no sir, I have been drinking, it would be dangerous for me to operate a vehicle, besides, I am a guest at this home, and they have given me permission to stay, have a goodnight…turned around and walked upstairs smiling the whole way…he was pissed!!

I guess for Delvon’s situation, I’m wondering what’s happened since the split that he now wants to go back? Is he’s now seeing the grass ain’t greener…type situation, did he not recognize back then she had a good heart, are you just missing her for real, is she with someone else and you don’t want her to be? What? I mean you knew of the “drama” back then right, just as you knew of her good heart?

I think I mentioned to you all on here about me having a cousin locked up and he has acquired a cell phone behind bars. He sends texts almost daily or is sending pictures of himself shirtless. So over the holidays he came up and EVERYBODY seemed irritated by this. So I felt a sense of relief that I was not the only one wishing he would quit. Even his sister went off on him about those daily Good morning, Good afternoon, Good night texts and of course the pictures.

ms. atl – re the cops doing their jobs. I laughed because I always think of them trying to get info from folks talking about if we don’t aid in their investigation we’re not helping them do their jobs. I’m like the day a cop comes to my job and helps me do my work we can talk.
CC/jake – had my niece last week. she was talking about happy crack like she was strung out for real. I was just wondering if there was an epidemic. lol. turns out her school has banned it but of course kids are still sneaking and eating it. I read that older kids are actually snorting it and there are variations on the recipe. all I could do was shake my head. I was way out of the loop.

MsAtl~ As disco said, some of the middle schoolers are snorting it but the elementary kids just eat it. Problem is that it creates an incredible sugar rush and makes the kids hard to handle. My kids’ school has banned it as well.

Snorting kool aid? Wth? Tell me about being out of the loop. I remember several years ago, having to dip out of a client interview to call my then teenager son to ask him what “brains” were since my client had been kicked out of school “for getting brains.” Heck! I didn’t know if he had gotten smart witht he teacher or what. I thought brains in school was a good thing. Apparently not!
