What stops you from approaching?
We can never explain why we are attracted to certain people, while others just don’t do it for us. A lot of the reasons we pass people up are completely superficial and nonsensical, but sometimes we have valid reasons to pause.
Call it instinct or intuition, but we often have to let our gut tell us when to keep it moving. I know for me, the minute I don’t go with my instinct, I end up regretting it later on. So how do we know when to follow our instinct and when to proceed with caution?
Have you ever noticed someone and was contemplating checking them out but decided not to? What was it that stopped you from approaching?
What turn-offs do you spot that immediately makes you rethink pursuing someone you initially thought was someone cool or a “great potential”?

Sassy, leggs, would this be considered the same as a forum, where someone poses a topic and people comment on it? Because I’ve seen some of them that go on for years, and stay on topic because the moderators will come in and delete anything off topic.

ITL~ Current hubs and I lived togther when I was 26 (after my first marriage ended) when we broke up (March 02) I met and married the 2nd husband (Sept 02) we divorced in 2010. Married the current hubs in January.

But kimmie, that’s Michael Straham’s trademark. He’s easily recognized due to this gap. And, back when I was growing up, gap in one’s teeth had a meaning to the nasty, horny young boys. Just like a woman’s gap got men going crazy and still do to this day.

Leggs, I know some, but they won’t tell me because they already know my first answer, is “okay”, second “and, third “why should I care” but these are usually people that I would call acquaintances also, not my circle of friends. You know the ones that think they know you, but they really don’t.
Sassy this is a blog where people come to chat, it wouldn’t stay on subject because it’s mostly the same people here everyday. You can tell when someone is new, because they either post early and never respond, or they post on subject late in the day when the subject has changed many times.

Single – There have always been folks that commented on stuff they only have limited info about, or stuff that does not concern them or offer unsolicited opinions. The Internet is just another avenue to do it and be rather anominous. If it’s stuff I don’t care about or don’t want to know, I don’t read it. Real simple. Where I have the problem is when folks do have the nerve and the lack of class to make certain comments to my face and get miffed at my reaction if I take offense.

I’ve got a few myself…I got a panther on my left breast, my name on my thigh(in really pretty cursive), I have a Chines character on my upper right arm and a tatto on the base of my spine that branches out to the left and right with roses on each end. Oh and I have my navel pierced.
All of my tats have sentimental meanings…some I got with my siblings and the others I got during certain special times in my life.. The navel ring…I thought was sexxy.

Single – It’s a very small world!! I’ve said stuff on this blog and foks that lurk have put 2 and 2 together. Good thing it was nothing bad. I did comment years ago about what this lame dude that approached me in a popular furniture store did and said.
