What stops you from approaching?
We can never explain why we are attracted to certain people, while others just don’t do it for us. A lot of the reasons we pass people up are completely superficial and nonsensical, but sometimes we have valid reasons to pause.
Call it instinct or intuition, but we often have to let our gut tell us when to keep it moving. I know for me, the minute I don’t go with my instinct, I end up regretting it later on. So how do we know when to follow our instinct and when to proceed with caution?
Have you ever noticed someone and was contemplating checking them out but decided not to? What was it that stopped you from approaching?
What turn-offs do you spot that immediately makes you rethink pursuing someone you initially thought was someone cool or a “great potential”?

Topic- the only thing that stops me from approaching is ME. Ole or no smile, just depends on whether or not I feel like it. I can say that I doubt I’d waste my time if I knew I could get her easily. I like the challenge.

Slim – Same here. I’ve had hair of all lengths, from around my elbows to Halle-short, and it’s thick. So I get asked if it’s a wig all the time. Almost never asked if it’s a weave, always a wig! Wonder why?LOL!!

I don’t dislike Robert. Like I said before, some things I think he does for attention. I don’t know who Robert is, but as “Robert”, I don’t have a reason to not like him. If what he lists are really things to his liking, I guess then no matter how unrealistic (to me), it’s what he likes.
But, I don’t get the “not liked by many” dynamics of this blog.

“-To be honest, though, the garlic and the espresso were duking it out”…… On that note, I keep the toothpaste and the Listerine in my office to kill that coffee and after lunch breath. Currently, we have two sets of auditors roaming around with request after request. Consequently, I stop using the breath fresheners. When they come in my office asking me for sh^*t, I hit them with a heavy dose of the curry goat, coffee and Doritos breath. “How can I HHHHelp you.” It appears to be working. No one has asked for anything since Thursday. They didn’t teach that in business school.

You don’t approach because you don’t think you deserve her nor stand a snowballs chance in hell of getting her. It’s actually not a self esteem or confidence issue; it’s more a matter of situational reality. One must know his target market. If you are a ground beef dude and you consistently pursue prime rib chicks, you will starve to death.
