Think outside the box?

I read somewhere that women should consider sending a thank you gift after a first date. I’ve never done this personally, but I imagine that is a surefire way to make a great impression. Maybe more women should think outside the box when it comes to dating?

Guys, what would you do if someone gave you a thank you gift because she really enjoyed the date you planned for her?

Ladies, have you ever felt compelled to send a note or thank you gift after a really fantastic date? Would you feel uncomfortable reciprocating a man’s effort that soon after your dating relationship began?

We all can get in dating ruts from time to time! What are some unique ways to think outside the box when it comes to dating?

Happy Friday!

I was told that I was going to “miss my blessing” for not going to church. Sooo, a hellion who raises sand 6 days a week and sits in church every Sunday is going to fare better than someone who tries to live right and just doesn’t go to church every Sunday? Sitting in church doesn’t make you a Christian any more than sitting in your garage makes you a car…

Bluz — Maybe I’m just used to it, or maybe it’s the fact that “hell” is imaginary, but it really doesn’t bother me when bible-thumpers get all self-righteous. They think I’m going to burn in hell and I think they’re f__king idiots, so it’s kind of a wash…

It aint a switch Leggs!! Ha! I just find it to be a good gesture because people now days are so caught up in image and trying to be something they arent it would floor me if a chick actually took the time to say she appreciated my efforts. Instead of putting it on her facebook timeline. I look for the things women do and appreciate the small gestures cause I dont need your money but its always nice to know youre appreciated. See Im always looking to see if a chick is selfish and that would show me that shes selfless. Thats what I need cause Imma make sure my chicka is skraight.. If she shows me shes selfless hey I open the gates for her, if not.. She stays outside with the other wolves.

Here lately it seems I cant keep the video vixens out my passenger seat. you know the ones who think youre gonna take care of them. But hey thats on me because I keep attracting the same chick.

Now if I want a cool chick I gotta do something different. And I plan to do something different. Tired of meaningless filthy sex sessions. Ha!!!!!!

bluz – re old folks. yep. you reach a certain age you can pretty much say whatever the heck you want. it doesn’t matter if it’s right, wrong, inappropriate, crazy. you earned it by then. if folks don’t like what you have to say they don’t have to listen. am I condoning ignorant old people? nope just saying stay away from them if you don’t want to hear what they have to say.

S/H – yes. the last line does. the difference is I’ll give my whole hearted permission for anyone to handle their business with a younger person or a peer. bust em the mouth, hit them in the head, bust a cap in their behind, spray them with mace, whatever. I may be a hood rat but I’m a respectful of my elders hoodrat. now, that’s not to say that when I’m away from said elder I won’t talk about them like a dog but that’s neither here nor there.

I’ve been told I’m going to hell because I don’t go to church. To me, I don’t have to go to church to show God I believe in Him. I live my life as right as I can and I’m a good person. I know way too many people who go to church and are not so good. In fact, I quit going to church because of all the fakes in there…

S/H – my son is 23 years old. apparently my son and my brother had a little disagreement that got a tad bit heated. I just happened to call my brother on a humbug at lunch today and he told me about it. in short I was on my son’s side (re the subject of the disagreement) but that’s not the point. I called my son and let him know that he’d better not be starting mess with my brother or he’d have to deal with me. I’ll give him grown but he’s only so grown. that’s kind of where I am on that respect the elder stance. you may be grown but you’re only so grown. my brother’s not an elder but he’s my son’s elder. my son needed to be checked and he got checked. lol. I felt like I did as a child talking about “you better leave my brother alone”. lol.

I have done the tantric thing and it is pretty awesome, but nearly as awe inspiring as they make it sound when you read about it. (At least to me) And you had better have a really comfy mattress because you will be in the same position for a long, long time… IJS

Re: religion

As some of you know from earlier blog posts, I have my MDiv. That being said, I think God sent me to seminary to bring some real world to some of those holier than thou Bible-Beaters. My view on religion is that if I truly don’t believe in my heart I have committed a sin, then God will agree. I’m talking about that inner place that you don’t talk about even with your BFF or your mom. Just my 2 cents…

Disco I understood, but a lot of times we think we can say anything to the younger generation and their just supposed to take it. I’ve had the same talk with my son, about his mother, my mother and my sister and brother, but I also tell them he’s grown, you have to treat him like he’s grown and not a child.

For me it wasn’t about being in the same position for a long time, it’s the prolonging of the act and the deeper intimacy that I like. I mean granted I’m greedy at times so this fits in perfectly in the scheme of things. Like that scene from Single Ladies where the young lady and her friend were “breathing each other’s air”..that sht is sooo hawt!

Oh and having a partner with stamina AND control is a plus..

“Guys, what would you do if someone gave you a thank you gift because she really enjoyed the date you planned for her?”

What’s up country folks!!!…The nicest and most thoughtful thing a woman did for me was send me a fruit basket after our date. We really had a great time. The women in my office thought she was crazy. I was polite and offered them some fruit.

s/h – wait. I think I got it. re the earning respect thing. for instance if my son had words with some random 40 year old and got out of line I could say it is what it is. later for whoever it is and they get what they get and I might even jump in. however, my brother is the uncle and my son is the nephew and I will not tolerate him crossing those lines.

disco you know the last part about him walking away was a joke :-) Here’s the scenario:
Lil disco comes home with his lips poked out,
big disco: boy what’s wrong with you
Lil disco: somebody said something and made me mad
Big disco: well did you whop his a$$
Lil disco: no because it was uncle (_____)
big disco: don’t worry about I’ll go whop his a$$

Ahh the tears. Honestly that’s kinda creepy the first time cause you don’t know whats wrong but I’m a fast learner hahaha. I ain’t gon lie and tell u I know the secret but I do know the signs with me and mines. Honestly its far and few between. When the stars align and we are both in tune with a marathon session it happens. Usually after about hour deep into the whole session. Not a beat and skeet or some and doggy but some serious grown fold lovemaking. You youngsters can stop reading now hahaha. Not the jumpoff or maint man just beating it up type of deal although that happens. I’m talking bout that mutual full body exploration where you are thoro without just trying to get a nut type of party. I’m talking bout that tingling leg shaking eyes rolling back in your head talking bout baby wait a min I can’t breathe. I’m talking bout that isht you don’t need to breathe just take this d ck. I’m talking bout that legs by your ears while I cup both sides of your face giving you the Eskimo nose to nose kiss looking into your tear filled eyes. Mixing in a few I love yous and this my puddy.
If that’s what y’all had then yeah I can relate (smile).

Robert- was it a first date? If so, I would have thanked you but not sent you a fruit basket. If it was some dates down the line, then that was a nice gesture. Also a nice gesture for you to offer them some fruit instead of telling them to go back to their cubicles…

S/H – it wasn’t blatant disrespect, just a discussion with differing opinions and they went too far. truth be told I know my brother is the hot-headed one but I also know my son is the stubborn one who insists upon getting his point across. either one of them could have or should have decided to disagree but since neither of them did my son is the one I take it too because I feel that he should have pulled back and let his uncle have that one. truth is, what my son really doesn’t know because he’s 23 year old cocky, is that my brother will whoop his A. lol. he don’t want that and I don’t want it for him.
