First date? Don’t expect to get lucky

A friend told me she was really offended that a guy moved in for a hook up on their first date. She does not understand how he read any signs that she was willing to have sex on the first date. She asked me, “Is this something that men just expect after one date, now?”

Well, I would not say most men expect a first date hook up. They probably would not turn it down, but I would be surprised if guys want to “get lucky” like that. When most people go on a first date, they usually just expect to have a good time. Now, what does a good time mean to you?

Would you be opposed to getting physical on the first date? Is it something that is even on your mind when you first meet someone you are attracted to?

Guys, have you ever decided to “go there” and make a move on the first date? Would it be something you would attempt if you wanted a relationship with someone?

Bluz – I’m thinking they are going to be worse come election day. The beau voted in Fulton and he said there was a major line. Folks were even handing out snacks and bottled waters. I had to vote in Newton Co so I was in and out in about 15 minutes…no snacks, no bottled water, just two fully dressed Sheriff’s lol

I haven’t voted yet – I’m a “day of” kind of girl.

And, all jokes aside, I use my toaster oven often, especially in the summer. I hate heating up the kitchen if I don’t have to.

S&H – I see it as being no different than Cinemark being sued for the Batman shooting.

SlimNu ~ no 8 track of anything (lol). She said they had a microwave and won’t need a toaster oven. Young minds are full of foolish thoughts.

Single ~ even though the guy was unstable don’t you think the church would have to prove/show they implemented proper and effective security for the safety of the parishioners. If they knew he was unstable and let him on the grounds, let alone allowed him to get that close to one he shot, liability issues may be on the litigation table.

I secretly kept a microwave in my dorm room. Whenever the RA was making rounds, we’d cover it up to make it look like a table with a table cloth and pictures…the whole nine. LOL

Slim – My thinking is that maybe it won’t be so bad on the 6th since there are many more places to go. With the early voting, Gwinnett only had a few places and apparently had very few machines in each place. This is a big county and they should have set up more locations. I just couldn’t believe the amount of cars. It took me about 20 minutes just to get back out of the place!

hey y’all. who’s suing who? please. this is the good old US of A. everybody’s suing everybody. a friend of mine sued a restaurant (and got a little settlement money) because her daughter was up running around and fell. nevermind that the momma sat there the whole while her daughter was running around like there was nothing wrong with that picture.

Slim – it’s funny but it’s not. some folks are just money hungry. one of my aunts filed a claim with my grandmother’s insurance company and essentially sued my grandmother (her own mother mind you) because my grandmother bumped into her parked car. it didn’t matter that several family members told her not to worry about it, they would cover it. she was convinced she’d get more if she filed the claim. just plain greedy.

Mrs Sexy, Leggs, the church is no more liable than the theater is in Colorado, you can file suit against anybody, winning and collecting your money is another story.

Or the person that sued a fast food joint when their car cascaded into the side of the building because the cement parking bumpers weren’t high enough to stop the car.

Ok, ok, ok I made that one up but i’m sure someone somewhere will try to sue for that if they haven’t already.

How can I ask this…ummm, ummm, ladies, how do you protect your ta tas from jiggling when you wear a backout dress that would make wearing a bra ractically impossible. I want to buy this dress, but going braless is not my thing (on any occasion).

leggs again – shoot the ladies can treat a trick too. treat a trick can mean many things. maybe you’ll bite your tongue instead of cussing a chick out. that there is considered treating a trick.

re swiss helping leggs out. I can just hear her explaining to someone how her new 18 hour super support system works.

slim – in my “old age” I’ve blossomed to a D. folks who knew me when are always asking when I got them done. my only real regret is that I didn’t grow up with these bad boys. I never learned how to work cleavage. I could be missing out on some real perks.

If you own a home, and someone injures themselves on your property, they can sue and collect. Homeowners insurance has provisions for this scenario. I don’t know if it’s completely analogous, but I would think if someone gets shot on your property (your church), then you could be considered liable in the same way. Poppa G, Comon, what say you?

I’ll hold ‘em for you.

we’re back on law again. why isn’t “watch where you going” a suitable defense to slip and falls, car accidents, etc.? the concept is so simple. so much could be prevented if folks would just watch where they are going. lol. and as for defenses, will “playing too much” ever make the list of acceptable defenses? why did you slap the plaintiff? she was playing too much your honor. lol. I laugh at that one because a friend’s daughter used that very excuse when she got ISS for fighting.
