Are you anti-PDA?

Have you ever been out in public and noticed a really obnoxious couple who are taking “public displays of affection” too far? A lot of people don’t mind seeing a couple happy and in love. It’s the couples who are in lust, that annoy everyone!

Most days, when I am not all “down will love” I can appreciate seeing two people happy to be with one another. I just think there is a certain line you shouldn’t cross. At some point, you really should go get a room.

Oddly enough, I don’t require a lot of PDA from men I date but I don’t like it when they are completely anti-PDA. Why would you not want to publicly show me affection? Are you afraid of being secretly filmed by the show Cheaters? Then I get all paranoid and start acting irrationally with over the top PDA to prove a point (I know, I have issues).

What is your stance on PDA? Are you for or against it? Have you ever dated someone who was not affectionate enough or was into PDA too much?

ITL they were one in the same…I miss some of the old bloggers, too but the frauds can stay where they are.

Comon…something in the water ain’t clean. Nip it in the bud. If you go to the party, be fierce and flawless…make your presence as his WIFE known. When he introduces you as his WIFE, smile broadly and genuinely, greet her and compliment her on her outfit even…all while looking her squarely in the eyes. Then just as you and yoUr husband are about to walk away, kiss(a lil I luv you peck) and leave her standing there…seething with jealousy. That’s called being nicety..

Where do these married/boo’ed up men come from that don’t know how to speak up & check a chick? Over the years, most of the men I know have no trouble letting a woman know they are not interested. In fact, that’s what turned me off from making the first move early in my dating career!LOL!! Some are very nice and gentlemanly about it, others not so. I just don’t get it!!

Comon – I don’t think for one minute anything foul is going on on your husbands part. Still though, stuff like that needs to be checked, by him. I don’t understand why he could not have found a nice but firm way to let his employee know his number was for work-related requests only. Plus I doubt very seriously you guys as a married couple are going places singles frequent and she knows that. She’s not crazy. If she was on the up and up she would be asking the single folk she works with where the hot spots are, not her married boss. He should let her know too he likes to leave work at work and does not socialize with his subordinates/coworkers. But hey, that’s just me & my opinion.

You can get shot in church just like anyplace else, so I say go for it. Whatever floats your boat.

CC – I get your pont about some women being trifling or wanting what someone else has. Red flags always go up whenever a chick is being a bit too friendly with an SO. I recall this new chick started working with my ex. He is a very outgoing guy, so naturally she befriended him and wanted to know the goings on in the city. She made sure she bought him a gift for Christmas or whatever and I’m looking at him like, you know she likes you right? Fast forward years later and he finally confesses to messing around with her.

CC – Oh and to go along with your story about a chick letting dudes fanga her on stage, I saw a chick at Freanik once with a dress and no panties on. It caused a huge crowd to form that got out of hand. She was engrossed with dudes trying to catch a feel on her butt & all up in her va ja ja. Finally, a security guard walked by and helped her get out of the fray. Her dress was all torn up too by the time it was over.

When I was dating Shthead, he claimed, at first, that this chick was calling him because she was trying to help him get a job with her employer. Next thing you know, she is going through a divorce and he was just a listening ear.

Fast forward some months and I pick up his phone one morning to see where she has sent a p&&y shot with the message “We miss you.”

I took it as hubby being open and forthright. He already showed her all the texts b4 the invite. He’s not answering the calls or texts. I understand most of what y’all are saying but give the guy a break. He’s trying to manage the situation openly. If anything at this rate moving forward dude won’t share anything with her. If he gets this much flak by being open and honest what’s the point.

Leggs – Well at first I think she was looking for attention and thought it was fun to throw her dress up flashing dudes. However, I don’t think she expected a mob to come out of it. lol She got overwhelmed with all the stranger hands coming from all over. Hell, I couldn’t even see her from all the dudes that surrounded her.

CC – That was near Underground & the train station.

SH – Well some dumb chicks were a little smarter than that one chick. They would be in the car flashing dudes but have the car doors locked and only allow a small crack in the window. So you had to have little baby arms to get a feel in that small crack
