Dating: Unlearn bad habits!
There comes a time in every person’s romantic life when you have to stop and take self-inventory. You know those gut check moments when you start to realize that a lot of misadventures, drama, and disappointments all share something in common: YOU.
I know, it’s not sexy or fun, but it is definitely necessary. How many old attitudes and bad dating habits are we clinging to that run off potentially great matches? There is a lot to be said about self-awareness. Many of us lack it!
Some men think they are projecting some alpha male image and it attracts women to them. They may not realize that they go overboard sometimes and can appear cold and distant. Some women believe they have the hot body and great sex to offer and that is enough to get and keep a man (It’s not, by the way).
So maybe it is worthwhile to figure out what dating habits we need to drop. Determine those old attitudes about the opposite sex that are most likely making us bitter about love. Are you guilty of clinging to bad dating habits?
If you meet someone with awful dating behavior, do you take the time to call them on it?

Slim…we were friends before. I don’t know…maybe I’ve just seen a different side of his personality since we did sleep together. He has just been unreliable. He was supposed to help me out with something about a week and a half ago. He got stuck in S. GA for a job (which I can’t fault him), but I had asked him to please keep in touch to let me know if he could come at all. I didn’t hear from him for 4 days…at which point, he just b*tched about his new job and didn’t apologize for bailing on me and not keeping in touch. It’s really just stupid stuff like that. I can’t count on him, yet he wants me to do stuff for him. I won’t be helping him out with things he wants since I can’t depend on him to help me out!

Robert~ Ok, maybe I am missing it, but there was a dude on here named Robert about 2 weeks ago spouting how he was looking for a virgin and chick (her name was Benita I believe) said she was a virgin. Put her email out and the whole 9. Does anyone else remember this or am I on some really good drugs and hallucinated it?!? Disco? S/H? Y’all were there for that BS right?

Ladies, I hate to bust your bubbles but most blue collar Men who work for UPS, FedEx, etc. work part-time. They can become full-time employees after a few years.

I don’t think I really depended on him for anything before…yes, we were friends, but didn’t really start hanging out until a few months ago. He was friends with me and with my ex, so we all hung out, but he never volunteered for things before and I never asked him for things before. It’s kind of hard to explain. He’s just been flaky about returning texts in a timely manner (when asking a question about gigs and stuff). Maybe I just didn’t see it before because we weren’t as close of friends before. He did write me on Sunday and invited me to a party for Oct 20th. All I said was “Maybe…” I’m pretty irked at him still.

Comon — On a serious note on Tech. Any DC they bring in there under coach fish fry is doomed to failure. You just can’t get your defense quality reps against the types of offensive sets you have to be able to stop as long as they’re running the triple option. Just not going to happen. Totally different techniques, totally different styles of players — at every position, including OL.

I can’t even talk about the Dawgs game…we just didn’t show up. No excuses. I can say though that I’m disappointed that anyone would egg and TP Aaron Murray’s house. He wasn’t the only one who played badly. I would blame the defense even more. SC just rolled right over our guys.

Bluz — The discouraging thing about the game is that is was just a continuation of a 6 to 7 year trend (or more, in some respects) of the exact same issues: looking undisciplined/unprepared on defense & an offensive line that (yet again) is not SEC-caliber. Doesn’t matter how good your skill positions are if you can’t block anybody.

The benefit concert was GREAT!!! We are still working on calculating how much money we made…not as many people there as we hoped, but the people had a great time and spent a lot of money on the silent auction! I’m so glad it’s over, though!!!
I think I’ll be celebrating National Mental Health Awareness Week by posting facts and articles on Facebook, as well as maybe some things that I deal with. I did go to my shrink yesterday…didn’t even think about that kicking off the week! LOL

swiss – I agree. This was our first real team we played this year and it’s sad that we can score 40+ points the first five games and struggle just to get 7 in this one. Even my SC fan friend couldn’t talk too much junk to me today because I already knew how bad we were!
