The height requirement
Everyone has those little dating preferences when it comes to looks and appearances. We think that what we are attracted to is a personal choice but I often wonder how much is influenced by other things?
Obviously, the idea of beauty and what constitutes attractiveness gets fed to us in many ways. I don’t know if we are always cognizant of how often this happens. This is especially true when it comes to having a height requirement.
Do you think that something like height can really make a difference in being happy with someone? I know of many women who actually believe that they could not make things work with a man who is as tall or shorter than them. It seems, I don’t know, naive?
Of course we all have those physical features we know we don’t want, but do you think that kind of thing matters ultimately?
Height, weight, hair, teeth, are seemingly small things but some of us base dating decisions on them. Is this a maturity thing? Do we ever outgrow the shallow things or do some of us stick to them?

Kimmie it bothers us just as much as it bothers women when you tell them they are not your type. Most people have that fear of rejection what ever the reason. Can’t speak for others, but for me to tell them the reason, they would have to push the issue, the first thing out my mouth would not be I don’t like fat women. I would not expect a woman 6ft to date me, but a woman 5′6″ below.

Single I’ve seen tall chics hang/date shorter men, yeah it looks strange but if they don’t care how they look in public neither should I. Seen the prettiest face on lady you’d ever want to see out the ugliest and I call people out on their looks but dude was ugly. It happens all time, everthing we talk about here goes on somewhere around the world.

Just came out of a meeting with some folks and this lady sitting across the table from me..won’t say what her color persuasion was but ummm…
she had her bagel on the table…no napkin on it..umm plain,naked bagle on the table that every joker has their hands on,in rotation All day…never seen a classy woman do that…
I just said to myself,’she must be a smoker and/or drink beer from the bottle!’
couldn’t take my eyes off that bagel she kept nibbling and putting back on the diseased table!

Single – I have seen countless tall, model-like women with short dudes and they seem happy as all get out! In fact, those dudes seem to go for chicks almost double their height and everyone is cool with it. I’m not a very tall woman at all, but the dudes with the complexes seemed to be those only a few inches shorter or right around my height. I don’t know what it is!LOL!!

I smoked herbs with him once. I wanted to see what it was like getting high but I was scared to inhale so he did it backwards…y’all know what you call it. I soooo did not like it. Ms. Atl – I was being one of those ride or die, you try it, I’ll try it chicks. Heck, I just wanted to know…lol I was raised a good girl, so you know all the “what ifs” were running through my mind. We use to skinny deep in the wee hours of the morning (after the pool closed) and I would do the same thing…lololol (I’m so laughing at this)… “what if we drown?” He would be so mad at me cause I was a scaredy cat and he was no holds barred. Kimmie the one time I’ve been accused of having the complex was by an ex, whom I meet online. We were having a conversation one day and she said if we had meet under different circumstances she wouldn’t have dated me. Now mind you she told me this more than once, the problem is, it was never followed by anything positive, no i’m glad I did, no i’m happy where I am, nothing like that. So yes I would get upset, hell I get it, don’t keep reminding me of it, like you are some prize (which she was, but there are others out there)
Other than that, I just have a low tolerance for BS and don’t mind letting anyone know it (LOL)
