Dating: Ready to meet the kids?
One of our readers has been seeing a woman for about 8 months and things are getting serious. The woman he is seeing has decided that she feels comfortable enough to introduce him to her children. He has none and is actually “not that great” with kids.
He wants help in figuring out if he is ready to meet the kids. How do you know when it is time to introduce your kids to your date? Should there be a serious and exclusive relationship before you bring your kids around the person you are dating?
What should you do if you aren’t “kid friendly” but you really want things to go well?
Do you think dating a single parent is harder when you don’t have kids too?

S/H~ Exactly! He is so focused on what HE wants that he is not keeping an eye out for what God has planned for him. That’s like the old joke about the man who lives in an area that about to be flooded. First comes a car telling him “Get in! We’ll take you to safety!” And he responds that “God will provide”. The same thing happens when the boat comes as the water rises and then again as he is sitting on his roof and the helicopter comes. Eventually, the waters keep rising and the man drowns. When he gets to Heaven, he asks God “Why didn’t you save me?” and God replies “I sent a car a boat and a helicopter. What more did you want me to do?”

Black Planet? Really? The Bert Show was talking about online dating this morning. They said that almost 40% of people who met online have only told their closest friends. 13% lie about how they met always and 47%happily admit they hooked up online. Where do you fall, S/H?

In the 47% I meet my last 2 girlfriend online but they didn’t start as online dating, it was just online friends, and have had several hook ups through online. I don’t have a problem telling people, because I really don’t care what others think about me, and my life.
