Put the man in Romance!
I have a friend who has admitted that she is romantically challenged. She has NO idea how to be romantic with her guy. The relationship is new so he has spent most of the time and effort in romancing her. Now she is eager to reciprocate – and if not the same degree of romance, something very close.
So far he has surprised her with tickets to a play, made a picnic for them inside his living room when the weather didn’t cooperate. He even took her car to be cleaned! The man is a keeper, ya’ll! He needs to be pampered and doted on just as much. So what do men consider romantic gestures? (You know the sexy things they enjoy doing before we get naked??)
What are the best ways to romance a man who has been so romantic in his own efforts? Should women feel pressure or obligation to match the same level of romance?

How can Romney want to even think about cutting social benefits to people that have dire needs for it when his parents lived on public assistance themselves? What a hypocrytic, I saw it for myself on tv his mother in the 40’s admitted they were on public assistance as she calls it for a year. This is unbelievable to think they were even on any assistance.

Mrs Sexy cool, there is no such thing as romantically challenged, Has anyone here seen the movie Up? Where the wife had a book with her dreams for her life in them I think, but anyway, sometime after she had passed the husband looked at the book and thought he hadn’t help her fulfill her dreams and not giving her a good life, they couldn’t have children and when they found that out, the thought that was where she stopped putting any thing in the book. When he turn the page, he found pictures of all the little things that they had done together before she died with happy doodlings around them, and she had been very happy with her life. So even do you think you are not a romantic, there are things that everyone does that makes there significant other warm and fuzzy all over

Afternoon All,
I am NOT romantic at all according to wifey. I am however very thoughtful. I think i am romantic on a larger scale but I do need to work on the smaller items. I’m working on it. I tell her she is just irrational and hard to please. Case in point; We got married in Jamaica on a cliff overlooking the beach. Every anniversary I make sure she wakes up somewhere out of the country overlooking a beach. To me I think that is very romantic. She complains that I don’t give her flowers and candy enough. So as you can see I am a work in progress.
She on the other hand is overly romantic (of which I can do without). I tell her she does the romantic things for me that she likes not that I like.

If she takes showers, what you do is you take one ahead of her one day. While the mirror is all fogged up, use your finger and draw a boquet of flowers on the mirror with a sweet saying. That way when she goes to take one and she pulls the curtain back she’ll see it on the mirror. Guess what, it doesn’t cost a thing but a little creativity

S/H – I get it. for me (myself, personally), romance is more directly about what you are doing RIGHT NOW to make the booty that you are about to get that much better. all that anticipation a week in advance is for the birds in my opinion. not saying being thoughtful all the time doesn’t help but I figure it should be standard behavior. all that “oohing and ahhing” type romance isn’t my style. I may have mentioned a guy in my past writing poetry. turned most of my friends on. did nothing for me. lol.

Little Cents was bald until she was 2. Then, all of a sudden, it was like someone put MircleGro on that girl’s head. She got a head full now.

I, too, am a child of the 70s. There are plenty of pics around the house with my afro and me wearing an kid’s sized leisure suits. I wore baby platforms in some of the pictures. There was no mistaking me for a female child. My dad had a black fist pick that was small enough to fit in my afro. He put it in my afro regularly. I even have a picture with Mikey at Disney World during the Bicentennial with the pic in my hair. I was 3 years old.

yep y’all. no lie. I was jet as a baby and I heard that bowling ball reference more than enough growing up. so much so that even though I’m a nice solid brown color now the family elders insist that I’m bleaching my skin or something. talking about “look at her. she’s getting so light”. it took a long time for my hair to come in. maybe 3 or 4 years but like with CC’s daughter when it did grow, it grew. it’s still the same way now. it’ll seem stagnant and then will seem to grow overnight.
PG – that’s what I’m talking about. I have a black fist pick now and one of those with the red and green flip down handles. what? lol.
