Dating: Step your game up

When you find yourself stuck in a dating rut, you probably don’t even realize that you have started to let things slip. Your efforts become less then enthusiastic. You start going through the motions. This is the best time to take a break from dating and focus on something else.

The dating scene in Atlanta is all about image and personality. You want to be able to stand out and make a connection with someone you find attractive. If you are not into it, it definitely comes across as aloof, uninterested, or obnoxious. Sometimes we have to step our game up and become a little more sharp!

Do you ever feel as if you are in a dating rut? What are ways to break out of it?

What are some ways to step your dating game up in flirting, mingling, or approaching someone you are interested in?

Happy Friday!

Playing catch-up!

swiss~ I have not read Goblin Market, but I will go on Amazon and see if I can download it to the iPad tonight! I am with you. I like the more suble erotica rather than the bash you over the head, over the top, “OMG stop, no one really has sex like that!” type of novels.

Lady – lololol

Single – I with you there. Folks wanna be grown, go on then and get your “grown folks” on. Just make sure you pay the way, because being grown comes with a pricetag.

Okay, I do remember looking at it a hot sec. I moved from the BB to IPAQ which totally died on me and I had to go back to the BB. I was sooo happy that crap was discontinued…lol I say do what works for you and your pockets. Trying to keep up will cause you to go broke.

So you’re a techie it seems. Okay, cool. You studied or just dabbled until you learned some stuff? I know I’m getting old now because I’ll call my nephew without even trying most times…lol Bad to say. Sort of like when my moms and pops got their first VCR years ago and called me to hook it up because they treated it something that arrived from Mars…lol

Single – You still have albums??? You have a turntable? You listen to those albums?? That’s cool, really. Awww man you just took me back some years. Although I wasn’t even 10, I remember my older sibs having every Motown record that was ever sold…lol We have a hifi (I think it’s what they were called). The turntable on one side, the radio on the other and storage in the middle for albums.

S/H~ You said that the price of them had skyrocketed. I assume (very carefully) that they must have upgraded somehow because it was getting beat out by the ipod. Mine is still in the box. LOL! My bro won it from some marketing contest they had going on and he gave it to me.

C~ I never really listen to the radio (other than morning shows) but I use Spotify and it recommends new music to me. That’s how I find it. IDK about S/H.

swiss I will check it out when I get a second. I have saved the link . Thanks!

C I really don’t keep up with new artist, just not into the new music. I know more about some of the new artist than I want to know, and I’ve never heard anything that they sing (LOL)

C I have a turntable hooked up to my computer, that’s how I got all the music onto my zune

Comon they upgraded the technology things, but they still basically do the same thing.

Ah yes the turntable is making a comeback, yep hi-fi was here before wi-fi. I unloaded a bunch of albums after the cassette come along, then they went after the cd come out. To me the phonogram plays cripsier music than a cd does.
