Dating: Reminisce!
Have you ever heard a song and was immediately reminded of an old flame? There are even times when I smell a certain cologne and the image of my ex pops in my head, and I smile. Reminiscing can be a really fun trip down memory lane.
Isn’t it fascinating how sounds, smells, or places can remind us of how we felt the first time we experienced them? I am a sentimental gal, so I have held on to a few mementos of former flames. When I want to think of the good memories, I pull out old photos or seek out reminders of happier times.
What are your best memories with someone you dated? What kind of things trigger particular memories of an old love?

I don’t have momento’s or whatever but I do recall special times of year. Everytime time I think of the 96 Olympics in the little A I’m reminded of a heavy relationship I was involved in. Do that qualify as reminicing cause that’s all I got? I wonder do any of them reminice about me, I left a lot of gifts and bracelets out there……..LOL

Oh yes CC – I’m tired of “trying” to build up someone. Which is why I’m ok with just being friends with Mags…he needs too much more building! I’m learing as I go. Honestly, this whole Mags situation has shown me that I am a little bit stronger than I once was. Yes…I was a little let down, but I wasn’t broken. I then realized that he couldn’t offer much to me and he had too many issues, so I have decided to keep it as just a friendship. In the past, I would have continued to pursue more until I got really hurt or stuck in something bad. I feel like I’m growing some. Even my therapist was happy with where my head is at right now.
