Dating: Trivial pursuit?
I was surprised to learn that a couple of my guy friends were still pursuing women who had not shown any real interest in them. I know some men like the challenge of chasing some women. Women they believe are worth the effort. How persistent did they plan to be, though?
I wonder how men decide that a woman is going to be worth all that work. Would they need to see some effort on her part to reciprocate?
I know a lot of women who treat men badly, simply because they know that the guy will stick around and endure it.
Do men like a challenge? Is it always about the chase and the pursuit that makes it exciting?
Ladies, do you know think playing hard to get is a good approach when men are pursuing you?

I never play hard to get, but I’m nowhere near easy. Every real relationship I’ve been in always resulted from pursuit and some persistence. Anything worth having is worth the work. Ar some point, you have to allow yourself to be caught.
Now, being stalked is another beast altogether! I’ve had one of those, a stalker. I suggest prayer. I’m sure though he would beg to differ. THERAPY AWAITS YOU.

Hey I’ll put in a healthy chase but if she is playing hard to get it’s pretty much a sign she’s not feeling me and that’s her perrogative. I have a perrogative to and it wont be going round and round pursuing a lady who has no interest in me romantically. It’s always a good thing because I’m not bothered to be tossed back in the sea.

Playing hard to get? I can’t undersand why any woman in a city where women outnumber men 6-1 would be playing hard to get. Hard to want? Now, I have met some of those guys and they (funny enough) seem to be the really persistent ones. Any person who knows their worth is not going to put up with those types of games and will definitely KIM if they find themselves involved with one who plays them.

Robin seems to be in one of those negative periods in life. She survived breast cancer and now leaves on medical leave for something else. Unfortunately, before she focus on her treatments for this illness, her mom dies. We all go through those periods in life. If you haven’t, keep living.
I remember her being on the evening news her in Atlanta when I was a kid. She handled sports on channel five news back when it was a CBS affiliate not a Fox affiliate.

On topic – The key word is “play” hard to get. Play indicates games, or that you are not serious. Or, you’re not good at what you do, you are just “playing”. I don’t advocate being easy by any stretch. A healthy chase by both parties involved is welcome and keeps things interesting. By not being easy, you allow the relationship to develop, you get to know each other before jumping headfirst in. But it’s pathetic to continually chase someone that does not want to be caught. And yes, Diva, not only are there women that treat men badly because they can, there are men that do the same.
What are your plans for this holiday weekend? The kids are going to be gone, so me and the hubs are gonna have a REAL good time!

She went to the “U” for law school and acts crazier than I do while watching game. It is one reason that I am hesitant of becoming a Falcons season ticket holder. She screams, yells, and even has a bad call brick (foam brick) that she throws at the TV when the refs make a call that she does agree with.
However, she is not going tonight. She participates in the DragonCon stuff. Something called steampunk. I really have no idea what it is either. She and her girls go every year. I think that it is just a reason to go out in a corset.

I actually know one or two that did graduate. They worked at Club Nikki and attended UGA back in the 90’s. I saw them in the club once while visiting Nikki and saw them again at UGA while visiting one of my friends. They graduated with my friend in 1996. I took some pictures with all of them in their cap and gowns at the Tate Center after the graduation took place in Sanford Stadium.
So, I know 2 that graduated. I know both their stage names and the guberment names. One is an attorney that works in the Galleria area. So, you never know who opposing counsel did to get where they are.
I must confess that while in college I did one bachelorette party for some quick cash since I couldn’t really work according to the NCAA. Females were crazy! Grabbing at stuff and all. It was good money, but I didn’t do it again. Speaking of costumes, we wore practice uniforms and were athletes instead of cops or firemen. No costs for us, but all income.

Mrs. PG did Poleteaze or something like that. That is where she started, but she goes somewhere else now. So, that is how we got to the whole pole thing. She likes it for exercise.
