If you ever want to know if you had a significant impact on someone’s life, have a little chat with your ex. It could be a harrowing or enlightening experience – or both! We may never fully realize the impression we made on someone, but experiences are meant to teach us things.
What do you think you taught the people you have loved? It could be what they don’t want in their next partner, or what they absolutely would love to have in their future mate.
It is one of great things about dating, the chance to learn about who is ideal for us. Do you think you left a good impression on your dates and people you dated long-term?
Would you be surprised if they told you that you changed them?

What up…I think I have left great impressions…I never split from any ex due to an extreme issue. Never caught up, (way too smooth for that), always respected the women I dated, and never pulled a dissappearance…If we were not working, or things were changing, I was always capable letting her go slowly, but honestly. There is an etiquette to breaking up, if done correctly, you might not ever relight that torch, but you can sustain a real friendship.

ITL/disco~ Those are some “You might be ghetto/redneck if…” moments. We could start a new list. If you use the car insurance payout for everything EXCEPT fixing the car. If you and your mother are pregnant at the same time (or if it was by the same man, FYI)

one of the teen baby daddy’s kept CRYING when his gf daddy would check him on things!
I saw that episode and laughed at it…the step-father was very protective of his daughter but when he stepped to the young man outside and kept saying “She’s pregnant!….what part of that don’t you get?!”, I was too through…lil man just sat in the chair all crumpled up, crying. I understand they were all under pressure but for some reason him cryig like he was pregnant was too funny…don’t judge me.
Just the fact that there is a show like that had me looking like

CC – both sets of my grandparents were having kids and grandkids at the same time. of course, in their defense, I’ll say times were different then. lol. I do have a few cousins who are currently having kids and grandkids at the same time. I won’t even front. I’ve had family members who were in jail at the same time as their children/parent. I’m not ghetto though (if you choose to believe that).

Sassy – I gotta admit I was shaking my head and laughing too, so I can’t judge! It was just a pathetic situation. I also tripped when he wanted to spend the night so he could help her get some sleep and help with the baby. They were fussing about how “inappropriate” it was. Well, it’s a little late to be worrying about “appropriateness”, is what I was thinking!LOL! It was all sad, but they still are better off than some people in this world. They have a decent home and food and a family working together. They made their bed with the decisions they made. They will be fine. I didn’t really feel sorry for them. And dang, imagine having a JOINT baby shower with your mother/daughter!

Sorry to hear about the car troubles. My admin assistantant had the same thing happen Friday evening when she headed home to Conyers. The tires went kaput on her and caused her similar damage as you had. The only real difference was that you had the transmission trouble and she did not make it home before the tire burst. Her hubby is a truck driver and he was on the road.
She drives a 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass which she had redone. She likes the old classic cars. Classic cars usually need special order parts.
I am glad that you are safe and sound. Cars can be replaced and repaired.
Look on the bright side, you still get your appreciation from work, get to eat on their dime, and $500 appreciation prize. So, smile.
As for the house, I feel ya. While apartments make other people rich, houses always need something done. Arthur Blank & Bernie Marcus were geniuses! There are times that I visit Home Depot so often that they know me when I walk in. Well, I guess that I kinda stand out, too.

y’all are clowning and cracking jokes but y’all know I have to rep for the teen parents since I come from a long, long line of them. lol. the bright side is that the kids grow up with lots of grands, great grands and great great grands. i had so many grandparents growing up that I truly took them for granted. now knowing people who never got to know their grandparents and I understand the blessing. we always ran 5 generations deep.
of course, that’s not an endorsement for teen parents, ijs.

PoppaG ~ I’m a bait car fanatic myself. It’s truly uncanny what prompts one to steal a car as though they really are going to get away with it. I remember seeing one episode where two young girls came out of the train station and passed the open vehicle. Both doubled back and got in. While inside they introduced themselves and stole the darn car…who does that?

I have to admit that I watch a lot of the trashy reality tv that airs on MTV. It’s all like a great big trainwreck! Kind of my guilty pleasure. I don’t admit it to too many people.
