If you ever want to know if you had a significant impact on someone’s life, have a little chat with your ex. It could be a harrowing or enlightening experience – or both! We may never fully realize the impression we made on someone, but experiences are meant to teach us things.
What do you think you taught the people you have loved? It could be what they don’t want in their next partner, or what they absolutely would love to have in their future mate.
It is one of great things about dating, the chance to learn about who is ideal for us. Do you think you left a good impression on your dates and people you dated long-term?
Would you be surprised if they told you that you changed them?

Leggs – Norcross is a bit far. Ask around your office and friends in the area if they have a trusted mechanic. Hopefully, you can save some money…

@Leggs: Thankful you made it home safely, but girl, tires are something you DO NOT take chances with. I get mine rotated at every oil change (3000 miles). Yep, I’m OCD. I know, I know….y’all are shocked.
Morning, Swiss. Oh, and went back to read the postings after I left yesterday. You’re in the corner, until further notice.
I kid, I kid….

Sorry ITL, that was for Bluz. I found a mechanic in Fayetteville who rebuilt my engine. He said he could do it for $1,050 but only a 30-day warranty. Not good. Those boys are good in Fayetteville off Roberts Road!

Leggs What do those prices include? A used rebuilt transmission will easily run you $1000 all by itself. Then there’s the cost to actually put it in…that labor cost is a killer.

disco Basically, it’s a geek fest. lol It’s a convention for people interested in scifi, comics, fantasy, adventure, etc. They have all kinds of events, and yes, many people do dress up. I’m a nerd. lol

kimmie Actually, that’s what got me going. I’ve always loved scifi and all that stuff, but kids are what got me into actually participating in Dragon Con. They love to dress up…it’s like an extra Halloween to them. lol

you all lost me at sci-fi. lol. I’ve never been into sci-fi and I can only take light fantasy. when it gets too crazy my mind just can’t wrap around it.
ITL – my best zombie gear? hmmm. I wonder what could pass as zombie gear. unfortunately all I’m coming up with is mummy stuff which means I can’t even imagine a good zombie. don’t think I’d fit in at this festival at all.

There are some pretty cool folks on the guest list. Don’t laugh, but I’d love to meet Levar Burton, too. Although he’s not there to rep Reading Rainbow, that was one of my favorite shows.

disco — If anyone ever tries to speak Klingon to you, just show them your titTAYs. They’ll be just as confounded by them as you are by the Klingon.
(Note to self: order a copy of “Klingon for Dummies” in case I ever bump into disco)
