Is inexperience a bad thing?
When you get to be my age *cough*, you go through enough dating misadventures to get a little “wisdom” (see what I did there?) and gain a lot of experience. You figure out what works, what doesn’t. You define what you like and what you absolutely can’t stand. Experience is a good thing. What happens when you don’t have past experiences though?
I was talking to a friend who is seeing a new guy who is a lot younger than she is, which means he has not dated many women. Sometimes, she can tell because of how he reacts and handles certain situations.
Thankfully, she is a patient woman and feels he is worth it.
Do you think that dating someone who has little or no experience is hard? Have you ever been the first love, first relationship, or first lover? Do you feel any pressure?
They say we are the sum of all of our experiences, what happens when our experiences add up to zero??

Comon — Oh man, I love the self checkout. That’s the primary reason I try to go to Kroger over Publix, just because Publix doesn’t have the self-checkout (at least not the one by my house).

lol I get your point but he went to dollar general so I am sure he had human interaction which isn’t the point he just got them without explanation asked what kind and brand and it was handled. he is 47 and divorced so he seem comfortable and just did it

Hey, Bluzy, I got a question for you. Apparently, dude that they picked up for making threats did not go to jail. They took him to the hospital to help him get back on his meds. Can they do that? I mean, I know they can, but I mean if he doesn’t WANT to take his meds, can they make him? I was under the impression that being medicated for a psychological disorder had to be voluntary. Am I mistaken?

CC – re the meds. I’ve seen instances where an individual was ordered to take meds. not taking them is contempt or even a probation/parole violation. guess it depends though.

However, if you are a threat, then if you’re not going to take your meds, you should go to the pokey. I just thought it was weird that he went to the hospital and not jail.

CC – as far as I know, since he has made actual threats against people, they can check him into the hospital. While there, they will make him take his meds. Now…I don’t know how long they can keep him there without his consent. I wonder if he will be put in front of a judge once he gets out of the hospital.

Side topic – Magnum found a shelter down the road from him that will take care of business for only $25.00. He doesn’t want me to go with him. My heart just breaks for him right now…the hardest thing is to make the decision to put your animal down…

BTW, although the Bama Blackout ended badly, the Auburn blackout game was one of the best tiems I have ever had in Sanford. When the sun started going down but before the lights came on, it was so blacked out it gave me chills.

S/H~ Whether he goes to jail of a mental institution would have to be answered by a judge. Several things will happen that will determine that. First, the partners have to press charges. If they press charges, his defense attorney will have to decide how to plead. (Guilty, not guilty, not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect, etc) Then the judge will make a determination on sentencing based on how he pleads and whether or not he is found guilty. That’s the abbreviated version.
