Right personality for marriage?
I was having brunch with my brunch chicas this weekend when the topic of marriage came up. I jokingly commented that having a husband that lived in the house across the street or next door sounds perfect!
I think a lot of single people who have not been married before have this fear (unhealthy?) of what life would be like living with someone else. Especially when you actually love living alone, in your space, doing secret single person behavior things all alone.
I wonder if it takes a certain type of personality to adapt to marriage and make those adjustments to living with a mate? Maybe some people find it easier than others.
Do you think some people just have the ideal personality to be married?
How can you know if you are that type? How can you tell if you have what it takes to be someone’s spouse?

I think the problem is that I DO know myself and that’s why I’m trying my hardest to do something a little different.
I’m not sure how to take that, Bluz. At the end of the day, people are who they are. You might stop leaving dirty glasses in the sink to please an SO, but you can’t quit being someone who wants and needs more than a physical relationship if you’re not made that way. You can try, but you will make yourself miserable.

This afternoon’s conversation is not good. I don’t see good things happening tonight at Marietta Diner. I hope y’all don’t see me on the news.

I think it all has depended on the guy. I’ve been able to knock boots before without having feelings develop. But…I do wear my heart on my sleeve and can fall fast and hard. It is hard to stop myself, but since I’m still freshly hurt from the ex, I’m trying to just go with it. If more happens, cool…if not, no problem…

Comon I can tell those DUI cases don’t hold you from taking the long lunch hours. (hours plural)………LOL sometimes I go home just for the h of it, I carry on like some of my executive co-workers. One big factor though I’m not one but they don’t have to know it.

I like Piece of Cake because they have small cupcakes and large cupcakes. They have sell wedges of cake for $5. They give you a choice.

Why is it the fat chick is checking out my slice? Yeah, I took a big piece. It’s just sitting there and in there for all to have at it. You got it, BF! I love the Suicide by Chocolate cake. All the desserts there are CRAZY. I’ve never seen cakes so tall anywhere but in Greek restaurants/diners.
