Dating: Summer in the city
It may feel like Phoenix outside, but this is Atlanta – a place that offers many options in date destinations. We talked earlier this week about having solid date plans for date night and we are fortunate to take advantage of all Atlanta has to offer! We have activities and locations that are ideal for night dates, daytime dates, lazy dates, adventurous dates…you get the idea.
Our good friends at HowAboutWe.com revealed that Atlanta daters have particular locations that we like to frequent on dates:
Top 10 Summer Date Spots:

I have only been to 1,2, 3 and 4 on a date. All really fun and memorable outings, and I plan to get to the remaining soon! The destinations helped, but I suspect that I was deeply distracted by my date. When you ask out the right people, your date destination becomes the cherry on top of the already iced cake, am I right??
There were also a few other notable facts about dating in Atlanta during the summer:
The dating site also uncovered the following in their research of Atlanta’s Summer Dating Trends:
-Atlanta singles love going to sporting events when summer time rolls around. Specifically, heading to a Braves game. Atlanta’s sport of choice, with 1 in 4 dates in the “play” category involving Turner Field.
-Another way Atlanta singles get their hearts pumping? Hiking. Hiking dates are suggested 2x more often during the summer.
-Volunteering date ideas are suggested 10% more often in Atlanta during the summer.
-Looking for something a little more unique? Hot air balloon dates also trended throughout June.
-Dates involving Brazilian cuisine are suggested 26% more often during the summer, a departure from winter’s favorite: French fare.
I have done the volunteering date idea and I was pleasantly surprised at my date’s willingness to go and not complain. I think you can tell a lot about a person when you observe them helping others.

ITL – They’re the slide I purchased from Phipps Saturday. I have the MKs but the B.O.C. slides weren’t in stock. They supposedly was gonna order from another store and ship to me but apparently that ain’t happening….lol So the store manager just called and said he’s getting someone to run to the NorthPoint Store (I believe) and bringing to Phipps. I’ll pick them up when I get up out of here…hopefully early

I turn my back when I thought the fire was put down embers are still smoldering. Leggs frankly I see it too, some folks literally like being dragged thru the fire. You know I took a brick in the eye for my oldest sister a long time, this dude was liking and she didn’t want no part of him. One day I was doing what 9 year olds do palying in the mud near some bushes and dude thought I was my sister and slung a brick through the bushes and it caught me in my right eye. Yeah I was jumping up and down in pain crying and so forth, and my uncle caught wind of it (disco this is how we did it too LOL) we walked the WHOLE neighborhood until we found that rascal and my uncle lit into him and my sister never had another problem from ever. Of course I had to deal with a black eye for a while but it was worth it.

I think someone just wants to rain on the parade of fun we’ve had this week. I mean wouldn’t it just be easier to blog alongside everyone else even if under a clown moniker and just roll and have fun??? Too, I thought he was boarding a plane with his girl on a date.
