Dating: Faking it?
One of the many challenges of a new relationship is figuring out the other person’s quirks. You can only put your best foot forward so long before you have to let it all hang out. This can be a great thing, though! Well, until you start to wonder what was real and what was fake.
You know I always say that you meet the person’s “dating representative” in the first couple of weeks of dating them. The dating rep is supposed to reel you in, but what happens when the rep leaves?
A friend of mine is trying to determine how much was real and how much is fake in his new woman. Specifically, he is wondering if she was faking the Big O – early in the relationship, or is she faking it now. Apparently, there are stark differences and he doesn’t know what to make of it.
Would you want to know if someone was faking it in bed? Do you think you would come out and ask if they were?
When it comes to sex and dating, where does the real vs. fake come into play before you know the real person? How do you know when someone is being authentic or fake with you?

@C – mine is better today. As odd as it sounds, I think it’s an allergy. I’m wondering with all the rain followed by the hot weather if mold spores are not going crazy now.

I have an O/T piggybacking on Celisea’s thought that some of us can “recognize game” when we see it.
Met this guy on Tuesday. He calls me last night (first call ever) saying he “needs to see me.” He asks me to meet him up at QT in 30 mins. I tell him I’m not doing that. He then asked if meeting at Burger King would be better to sit and talk. Hell no. Says he lost his car due to “the economy” but I should judge him on the person he is and not what he has or doesn’t have. Told him he had a point, but his station in life also determines whether a person wants to go any further in getting to them. Hell, he sounds like we just got out of high school and now it’s time to meet up at the neighboring soda hop. At the point I am in my life, you have no car, you won’t get to know me. I’m no one’s chauffeur.
Oh, he also said we could switch things up and take the bus or train if and when we go out. I wouldn’t always have to drive. GTFOH!!!!

leggs – bless it. I swear I’m so sick of sorry men. you’d think sooner or later sorry men would get sick of being sorry. and I don’t know why they try to throw those sob stories out at you. I mean I get that some chicks will eat it up but I’m not one of them. one guy immediately told me about his car being stolen. I let guys know I have a “no man in my car” rule. we travel in his car or separate cars. I’ve had guys attempting to make me understand why they had to file for bankruptcy (almost always because the ex-wife ran up the bills – mm hmm) or why they got foreclosed on or repo’ed. I’m not trying to hear that mess. let’s not get started on the “I don’t live with my momma, my momma lives with me”. why – oh why – did you open the door to sorry men?
