Dating: Is it lust or love?
One of the reasons I am so irrationally cautious at times with dating is the fear of confusing lust with love. You meet someone so great, you just want to rip their clothes off every time you see them? That’s lust. Not necessarily a bad thing, but definitely NOT love.
A lot of women make the mistake of confusing the two, and I suspect men do too. We are human, so it can be hard to determine when it is real or when it’s love. What do you think is the difference between lust and love?
When do you think you can know with certainty that it is more than lust?
Have you ever confused lust with love? What did you learn, in hindsight, and did it help you for the next time?

Did anyone read about the white high school student giving back his scholarship because it was meant for black students? I say he should have kept the money.

mr. unknown – didn’t read the story but I have to ask – did he give the scholarship back because he felt he’d be taking away from a black student (honorable) or did he give the scholarship back because he didn’t want a “black” scholarship (not so honorable)?

I just read the article, “I knew they were trying to do a good deed for the African-American community,” Warren told KABC-TV. “I had no trouble giving it back to them at all.” I don’t like the idea having a scholar given by “Martin Luther King Senior Citizens club” only be awarded to one race. Either change the name of your club or include all but he did the honorable thing though by returning the money.

Oh…and as to meeting someone who made me want to rip his clothes off every time I saw him…I have had the good fortune of meeting ONE guy like this in all of my life. However, it was at a point where I’d gained enough life experience and good sense to let him know that I would be limiting my exposure to him because I was not built to be sexually involved with someone and not get attached. I threw him over into the FZ and haven’t looked back.

lolalee – I can’t speak for the blog men and the lies that they tell but I do know short men who have come to terms with their height and make no bones about it. after all, it’s one of those lies that you can’t reasonably expect to get away with long – at least not in the real world – in blogville you can be any height/weight you want.

I’m 5″10, 125lbs, have a booty like JLo & Kim K, wear a size 7 shoes, hazel brown eyes, naturally long hair down to my lower back, I’m ripped as far as muscle tone goes and has an Australian accent.
