Have you ever been on a first date and someone asked something outrageous or inappropriate? Some people don’t do well with the question and answer portion of the evening, if you know what I mean.
From inappropriate “what’s your favorite position?” questions to TMI answers and oversharing, awful conversations can ensure you won’t make it to date number two. Why are some of our first date conversations the worst? I know I can get super chatty when a guy I really like makes me nervous.
I think a lot of times it is good to let your first date be the “chemistry test” to see if the attraction is strong enough to spark a natural connection. This may mean that asking heavy questions and oversharing should be reserved to a much later date. What do you think?
Do you prefer to talk a lot on the first date or go out for some activity that won’t require a lot of talking time (not sex), like movie, bowling, etc.
