Dating: The Oh No, No List

Happy Friday! I am in great need of humor this week so I want to share this clip from NBC’s Parks and Recreation. It is funny…and kind of true!

The clip shows the character, Tom, talking about his Oh No, No list. If someone he is dating does anything on the list…it could result in an immediate breakup – harsh, but FUNNY.

Single people are notorious for having outrageous, ridiculous, – completely not based in reality, dating lists. We convince ourselves that some things just prove or disprove compatibility.

I can think of my top offenses to put on my Oh No, No lists but I will wait to read yours first. What quirky, totally unique things do you secretly judge dates on? Would you say Oh No, No to someone who hated jazz? Would it be an instant break up if they couldn’t use chopsticks?

Keep it light and fun. We can all act like “judgey jerks” at one time or another, may as well laugh about it!

Ive had to fire a 25 year employee for having a swiss army knife. A 12 year empl for having pepper spray in her purse because another said she felt threatened. An explanation or reason don’t mean isht up against company policy.

jake – the buster institution was wells fargo. i was a former wachovia account holder and sort of ignored the account once they switched over. still… deposits twice a month should be an indicator that the daggone account isn’t dormant. PNC just took over a local bank here. i need to get an account there since that’s my “hometown” bank.

Maybe I’ll have to try a short heel again. Honestly, I’m really not a girly girl and don’t wear much that would require a heel. I’m a jeans and t-shirt (or nicer top) kind of girl…

WD – that’s why my weapons are in the car. it’s all good. if something ever jumped off at work i know i could take most of the chicks and i’d just have to stab at the guys with a letter opener or something. where there’s a will there’s a way.

WillieD – She was telling them because she comes in early, the same thing…that she felt threatened walking to the building by herself. And it was the same thing…toooo bad. What they’ll do is have security go and come with you if you’re needing it. They had an answer every way she went.

Leggs, where you work, sounds like a great, creative, environment…

WD-dayum, and whats worst, people look at you like you are suppose to cover for them or disregard the policy, I do some work in Compliance around here…its not my rules buddy, its policy!

I remember working in what was considered a “step up” group some years back and this chick was GHETTO as ever. She and this dude use to bring weed to work. I’m such a chicken I was running over myself getting away from their set of cubicles when I saw them pull it out…lol

Another time we were all standing around talking about some tragic plane crash that was on the news and everybody feeling empathy and sympathy for the families this same hoodrat said “shoot if it was me/I was there, I’dda been stealing purses  Everybody just looked. All at a loss for words. From that day on, I locked my bag up until she kept pulling the trick of not showing up and finally one day just never came back. Don’t know HOW she got away with that because they don’t play that kind of stuff here.

Disco, thats how I ended up with a Wells account, Wachovia treated you so much better…been contemplating moving banks, but they are all about the same these days…anybody just love their bank and would reccommend them? I would recommend Georgia’s Own Credit Union (GaTelco), they are really good.

Jake: I LOVE Telco. Been with them for years!

I find, in general, that you get better customer service from a credit union.

i have a problem with atm fees (and any other fees truth be told). i generally try to keep accounts open at the two largest banks in whatever area i live in. cuts down on not being near the atm you need.
