One of our readers wants the MIA Blog community to offer some suggestions on her latest dating misadventure. She was set up with a guy last year but she did not feel attracted to him at all. He was a “nice guy” but just didn’t really do it for her.
She kept his number and at some point they “hooked up”, which is to say, she basically offered him charity sex. It was sort of like “some sex is better than no sex” kind of situation for her but he was really into it.
She wants to know, should she let him know that he is a “seat filler” until someone she really likes shows up? Do men generally not care if they are being used as the bench warmer until the All Star shows up?
Is it a bad idea to hook up with someone you are not attracted to because you felt bad for them?
Here is my question: Is it possible to start a real relationship after you have had charity sex?
