Attraction: Who gets our attention? Time?

I read somewhere that the type of woman that gets a man’s attention is not always the same type that gets his time. I have witnessed men gawk at the sexy vixen who is turning heads, but is that the type he will end up with though?

I know I can notice a edgy guy who looks like he is a total heart breaker, but would I actually take that type seriously? Probably not! This makes me wonder if we ever really know for sure when the type of attraction we have to people is the kind that will last longer than 72 hours.

When you consider the type of person who makes you sit up and take notice, do you think that person is someone you could actually be around?

Should we trust our initial attraction to pick the person we should pursue?

How do you decide who gets your time after they get attention?

Gotcha. So, Tony Soprano = good family man. And Betty Ford = morally bankrupt.

Tony Saprano is a fictional character and no this fictional character was not a good person in terms of being a family man. Also, I know little about Betty Ford but she did turn her life around…I may be wrong. But IF betty Ford was drunk while parenting then I think that is a tragedy for her children.

And still by your standards and measure and rearing the way feel, GLAD the Almighty will have the final say. So if one smokes crack and feed their children and still make it, for all your not smoking and serving well balanced meals…..heaven will no less grand!

Raising kids is a little more then just feeding kids. Who said anything about going to heaven. My point is its sad as a society we pay tributes to people for how they sing or play sports or do business.

Yes Saprano is fictional, but the affairs and drug use of the aformentioned is very real and we should all be mindful of those things when celebrating these same people.

I love that affairs & drug use are the first things you point to in defining Tony Soprano as a bad character.

Oh well, to each his own…
