Dating: Scoring extra points?

Congratulations to the New York Giants! What a game that was, right? I am soo going to miss football though. So much so that you will have to humor me with this “game” themed post today.

If dating is a game, then who is keeping score? When it comes to sizing each other up, single people sure know how to assign extra points for the most random things.

For instance, I know a woman who agreed to go out with a guy because his car’s license plate was supporting Breast Cancer. I met a guy last night who asked a woman out because she mentioned that she was a gymnast in college. I know, random! (Also, blatant wishful thinking)

Apparently we meet and scrutinize one another because we believe that little things can add up to a lot. So what seemingly small thing are you impressed by? What is the most random reason you decided to ask someone out or agree to date someone?

Do you think that people meet you and give you “extra” points about something you do or say? Spill it!

Happy Monday!

disco – I have the feeling that he won’t be too funny but I’m trying to remain hopeful. The beau likes him so we’ll see how it turns out. I’d much rather see Kevin Hart or the short pimp looking dude, can’t seem to think of his name right now lol

Mike Epps has a grandfather pace and gait about him…his jokes and voice seem so Old School.

I don’t see him running fast,up and down on a stage…like Chris Rock etc

Yea,like Lady said,he can go sit his azz down somewhere..

Kevin hart is a straight gut busting fool and I think you mean katt Williams. Kevin hart tickled me on the ford commercial where he said if ford is improving stuff so much he ought to send his kids to ford.

@Lady ~ ummm, I see you have renendered my services for a possible meet and hangout. No sweat, it disco comes and want to hang, I plan something.

On Mike Epps, he doesn’t come across to me as being very funny, even on screen at times. His dead pan humor is just that dead….

O/T – damn shame what that Powell fella did to those little boys! COWARD!

When it comes to Mike, I think he uses the way he talks or that dumbfounded look to make up for the lack in actual jokes. Looks like it’ll be a Carry the Flask kinda night lol

I think I may try to go to the UniverSoul Circus while it’s here. Try to get my sister to bring my niece up here, i’m sure she would definitely enjoy going.

Excellent, Celisea!! Like you said, she knew she didn’t do right by you and that’s why she called to see if you were alright (something she has never done). Your curt responses to her inquiries fueled her guilt. Glad she woke up…

disco

leggs – curt responses nothing. I don’t even know her but I doubt her guilt was the motivation. I’m thinking more along the lines of CYA. if celisea was heated enough to stay home and issue curt responses then she could have been heated enough to make a formal complaint of some type. that would have put the situation on front street and old girl couldn’t allow that to happen. of course – that’s pure imagination/speculation on my part.

I usually pop back in when it’s too late. It would be nice to win something though. What is the number to call and how often do they do it.

Leggs

Formal complaints, guilty same thing in my boat. That’s what I basically meant. Guilty on how she treated her, calling her to check on her all attempts at CYA. I agree, disco!

I usually put the Cold Cut Artist out here daily (well, not everyday, but often). The first clue is given at 11:14 so my post is usually out here around 11:16 with the answer and phone number. Answer is announced at noon with the day’s winner. Check my posts around that time to see if I put one out. I didn’t today just because I didn’t want to see Epps.

Did you all see Madonna almost fall on the bleechers? Even with her being 53-54ish, she was definitely doing a good job of keeping up. Every time I see Ceelo, he makes me laugh.

Celisea

Let’s just say the ballplayer was “formally” reported for SEVERAL things he said that was against the code of conduct and done so because my manager didn’t have my back. Well she came under fire and took out on me… Well, I wouldn’t endorse my end of year review which prompted a conversation with my manager and hers. I was very candid and frank. Needless to say him being reprimanded for his incidents didn’t help. So um, yeah they know, for his conduct over the last year, I can sue.

@SlimNu ~ I’ve been asking everyone and no one saw Madonna almost fall. How could someone miss it. She recovered but she was supposed to step up and missed a step and wobbled a litltle. Finally, somone else who actually paid attention.

I bought a slice of pizza from the cafe and I tell ya…this is a heart attack waiting to happen. Why am I having to dab before eating because of all the grease?

Really – Work issues or not. I don’t lose sleep over the lowdown dirty. No stone goes unturn and best believe what you do or hand to other people, you get it back. Just be prepared when it comes full circle.

@Cellisea ~ back home, I would fold my pizza and wait for the grease to drip off (lolol), or dab it with a napkin…back in the day, that was some good eats. Now, all that grease isn’t so well received anymore.

Leggs – Yep, the taste of it is pretty good, but I can’t do “grease.” I WILL NOT eat Pizza Hut unless the company buys, and then it’s gotta be thin crust supreme. I’m a Papa Johns gal.

SlimNu

Leggs – What makes you wonder if sex would be difficult for him? As far as Madonna goes, mostly everyone in my office noticed her slip. They talked about how she did a good job of keeping up, but some parts were awkward. I found it a little weird to watch on the part of the show where she was doing all this flips upside down and over the male dancers…they could’ve left that out or let Nicki Minaj to the acrobatics lol

I ordered Papa John’s for lil leggs and her company and it was the driest pizza ever! Very stingy with the sauce.

@Celisea ~ how you get that vibe from that song??

Leggs – Not dry pizza…lol I loooove PJs :)

When he says “Go’on witcha lil boyfriend” that and how he does that whole song grates on my nerves. He just sounds so womanly about the whole matter (of his girl moving on to another)….”Go’on witcha lil boyfriend” lol

Celisea

Wait, I should say if it’s gotta be pizza then it’s gotta be PJs. I shouldn’t say “looooove”, because I rarely eat it. But when I do, that’s where I’m going.

@SlimNu ~ I definitely agree the last flip with the twisting of the leg over the guys what it was could have been left out. That move was completely unnecessary. The cheerleading was a dismal failure to, but the overall performance was good.

I wonder about Ceelo only because his girth is so wide. Lifting it up to get to the goods could feel like a boulder fell on your head if it’s not lifted up properly.
