What is it about men and their money?

A guy once told me that he was advised by his mother to never give women money. It seems to be a way to suss out which women wanted him as a sponsor instead of a partner. If a man showed no desire to help a woman out financially, would that be a sign that he is smart or inconsiderate?

Women today generally prefer to hold their own financially. I don’t know a lot of women who have a salary requirement for the men that they date. I wonder if they would look to test a man to see if he would be a good provider, though. How important is being a provider to women?

Do you think men today use wealth to attract women?

Guys, what are your thoughts about your money and your confidence? Are the two related?

Bravo, Leggs, you are quite the poet
All this time and I didn’t know it!
You definitely have the capacity for rhyme
Can you make one almost any time?

Because we were talking about music. Wacka Flacka, Gucci Mane and Lil Wayne doesn’t necessarily have really tight lyrics….

No, no I can’t ITL
But I’ll try, just for you

Now Grasshopper, hear me good
I’m telling you to stay out of the hood
All your smiles, all your jiggle
Will soon have a Pimp banking on that wiggle…

Dear Leggs, that was a wonderful rhyme
It made me giggle, it was so sublime
Please, Leggs, write another verse
You can do it, no need to rehearse!

LOL @ ITL…that’s funny. On a side note, what is the betting line on the SEC championship. I admiot I did not take the Dawgs seriously until the last few weeks, but the way they took apart Tech and ?Auburn has made me wonder if you have a chance afterall. Altough I have to tell you, LSU is really good, probably the most balanced LSU team I’ve seen.

Randy – the last time I checked it was LSWho by 13. I’m going to respectfully disagree with your comment re: the balance of their team. As we saw in their game with Bama, the defense if top notch but their offense and quarterbacks, welll…….

Meetings…

I disagree with Mike P that anyone *needs* validation outside themselves.

That would mean I care what “people” think. So much so, in fact, that I am willing to change something about myself.

Nope, neh, no.

Validation, in the way you described it (in your long post pg7), is not validation so much as it is acknowledgement. And as stated, I want acknowledgement from a select few, but I don’t need it.

Love Poem, by boo-virus

roses are red, violets are blue. She drove off the road while putting on lipstick in the rearview mirror and smashed into ditch and her car caught on fire and blew up and they took her to the hospital where she later died from choking on her lipstick.

leggs – I admit I’m way way late on the hip hop/rap scene. kids keep you current and when my left he took all the “pop knowledge” with him. I might pick up a tiny bit of scoop when visiting friends with teens but I’m in the dark. the last time i went home I felt like the village idiot at the club. the “jam” would come on and folks would hop up to dance and I didn’t even know what the song was. embarrassing I tell you.

LSU is, indeed, very good but I think we have a chance. But hey, win or lose, I’m proud of the Dawgs and what they’ve accomplished this year!

ITL…yeah John Chavis the DC from UT has earned every penny they paid him after Kiffin sent him away. I think what i am saying is that they aren’t relying on Les Miles trickery this year to pull games out of their azzz…just running into, through, and over the opponents.

A New York woman is being scrutinized and praised after people learned that she used a dating website to procure $1,200 a month in free meals.

According to Business Insider, 23-year-old Jessica Sporty was deep in debt. Sporty found it difficult to live on her $45,000 annual salary after spending nearly $1,500 a month in rent, paying her credit card bill, and buying food. So she signed up for Match.com and was quickly going on five dates a week. Sporty even created a spreadsheet with detailed information on each of her dates, limiting each guy to a maximum of five. Sporty was taken to high-end New York restaurants, and one of her dates even bought her a $200 bottle of champagne. The response on social media has people divided. Business Insider even changed her name to protect her identity in the original story, because she was receiving so much negative attention. One woman tweeted, “gotta give it to her,” but others are saying it’s “the most annoying thing I have ever read.” Most men have responded with anger, admitting that what Sporty did is “their biggest fear.” But scared men, there’s no need to be worried. Sporty is off the market. She’s currently in a relationship and no longer on the dating website. Single and ready to mingle? According to a survey on AreYouInterested.com, New York City ranks as the No. 1 online and mobile dating city in the country.

It will be an interesting game. If Murray is protected by your OL then maybe. If they can get to Murray you are hosed, but if you can stay with them for 45 minutes, then a break or two and you can take it home.
