What is it about men and their money?
A guy once told me that he was advised by his mother to never give women money. It seems to be a way to suss out which women wanted him as a sponsor instead of a partner. If a man showed no desire to help a woman out financially, would that be a sign that he is smart or inconsiderate?
Women today generally prefer to hold their own financially. I don’t know a lot of women who have a salary requirement for the men that they date. I wonder if they would look to test a man to see if he would be a good provider, though. How important is being a provider to women?
Do you think men today use wealth to attract women?
Guys, what are your thoughts about your money and your confidence? Are the two related?

OT…was in the “out of the ordinary” news yesterday that some lady was dating a tattoo artist. He was suppossed to do a nice, full back scene from “The Chronicles of Narnia” and apparently was pizzed at her and instead did a pile of “poo” with flies all over it .. the top fly is right up at her neckline. That is one “tramp stamp” vision that will be a turnoff for her next beau. Can you imagine looking down at that while…well you know.

That was it exactly. Luck…and he did put in a hella-effort. He started out with lawn chair and iPod in the BB line at 6p. Moved over to Target around 10p. Then only ended up with a television on a fluke. It appears that an older teen had come to the store with the family of one of his friends. TheDude says that when he made it to the section where the tv’s were, the teen had a television in a cart and appeared to be on the phone with his mother, pleading with her to “just come to the store and bring the money.” His mother must have declined his request. After about five minutes, the teen walked away from the cart, then stopped, turned around and told TheDude that he could have it if he wanted it.

@Randyt ~ glad I went back to read page 4. Q100 was talking how Maroon 5 knocked Adele off her perch and is now #1. Who cares. Adele is going to win a plethora of awards in 2012!!! Her songwriting tells a story and that’s what a song should do. One of my least favorite records is Happy Anniversary by JoJo and Kay C (sp?)…that song is repetitive and extremely sickening. I heard one singer jokingly state he didn’t like Adele because he wished he had written the lyrics to “Someone Just Like You.” Artists need to get back to the lyrics…

TheDude has effectively talked me out of going parasailing on our vacation next week. He says it would probably be better for me to do it next year AFTER I’ve taken swimming lessons. He thinks that me not being a great fan of height combined with my inability to swim makes parasailing not the best choice.
We are going to take the bike tour instead.
