Sex: Does it mean anything?
A friend of mine is knee-deep in a relationship that she didn’t go looking for. Apparently, it was one of those booty call to boyfriend kind of transitions that isn’t necessarily premeditated.
One could argue that once sex is introduced in a dating relationship, it changes the dynamics. Does it have to mean the same thing to both of you? When do you know that it does or when it doesn’t?
Sex doesn’t always mean exclusivity, but do you think it should?
What impact, if any, do you think sex has on a new relationship?

Sex changes everything but it doesn’t mean the same to all individuals.
Sex doesn’t mean exclusivity. Monogamy is something that is decided between two people.
If sex affects a new relationship then it does; however, no single relationship should be a base for such a hypothesis. Every relationship is different, the instances and the involved. This is about as subjective as it gets.
If I were looking for a LTR with the possibility of marriage…I’d wait on the sex until later.

UGA 1999 — Ack! I certainly hope NOT off it for good! But clearly I need to make better relationship decisions, and want a man who loves me for my mind, spirit, and sweet soul as well! Someone I can admire for his non-sexual qualities too. Kind of important when you’re thinking about somebody to grow old with! But once the hot freaky stuff gets cranked up, nobody is thinking clearly anymore. The better the sex, the greater the loss of logical faculties. Time to clear my head.
