Do you need to vent about dating?
Dating can be like this strange amusement park that can either be really really fun or really awful and annoying. It just depends on what kind of luck you are having at any given time. I have to be honest, some days I don’t want to even do it. This kind of attitude is a classic sign that you should take a break from dating!
While dating has its perks, sometimes you just want to acknowledge the moments when it sucks. So I think we should take a moment and vent so we can release the frustration and get it out of our systems!
What frustrates you about dating? What would you like to say to the last horrible, no good date you endured?
What annoying habits do you wish the people you dated didn’t have?
I bet you will feel better! Let it all out…without naming names of, course!

At least you Hetrosexual folks get to date. As a GWM here in Atlanta you’d think a genuine dating pool would be filled to capacity. But, sadly it’s not the case. The bulk of them are just looking for a hook up, they could care less about trying to build a relationship. Little substance or character at all. Count your blessing ladies…if you date just wears too much cologne.

I just hate all the game playing that goes into dating sometimes. If your intention is to just have some time to kill by dating me, then be up front about it. Dating can be fun. The A has lots to do. I’ve done a lot but there’s still more to do. Plus you can hop in the car and go on a quick getaway to a lot of unique places.
With that said, my venting comes from trying to figure these men out. Have great dates and then they either are trying to profess their love too soon or you get very little feedback. Can I get right there in the middle. I recently met a nice guy and have been out with a few times. His body language and interaction with me is very attentative. Soon as we part ways, the communication is not as much as I would like it. I like him so I will see where it goes.

Another thing! I don’t conform to any “dating rules”. I will get physical with someone if I feel comfortable and I know they are going to be around for sex on a regular basis. If not, I don’t open the flood gates. I don’t want it once every month or two. I will want it all the time. And I don’t want to collect notches on my belt by adding random people. That’s just not me. Some people say by the 3-5th date you should be getting physical. Ha! If I feel it, maybe.

Amia beware of the lax of communication when he’s not with you, I met a guy who only talked to me when he was either going to work, coming from work, I asked him about it and he gave me a vague reason as to why, come to find out he was living with someone. The guys who are profess their love for you 9 times out of 10, are because they are ready for love and they want to commit to you. So if you want to be in a committed loving relationship, then choose one of those guys… if you don’t want committed relationship, keep playing around with the other… but you must choose, as there are no middle ground.

1. NO sex talk
2. Chew before you swallow – eat slow
3. Drama is for daytime TV and reality
4. Date five years younger
5. Have some sort of style or fashion
6. Loyalty is a must “ride or die”
7. No suggestive convo’s..save that for the romance novels
8. Plan dates 6 months to a year out…there is no 90 day rule for s ex
9. Texting is wack..only use for quick updates only
10. Don’t expect sex until you make her FEEL like she wants to with you

My main issues with these females out here in the “A” is that they don’t know what role they play in…
example:
If I am looking for a quality woman, a real wifey type woman to date. I am not looking to date the chick who only has her looks going for her. So when that said chick tries to get me to date her or worse, she tries to set me up with some of her friends, all of whom are equally as “non-quality” as she is, they then have an attitude, they may be fun and all (their role: fun and games), but there’s more to life than having fun…

I’m in heaven!!! Back from shopping! I was worried the shoes at DSW I wanted would be gone in my size, but they were not. They only had about 4 pairs left. I got another pair at this little nearby boutique. I had been looking at them and prior they didn’t have my size left. How about not only did they have one there in my size, but they had them 50% off the sale price! I got a $40 pair of leather sandals for $12.50!!

Funny story:
Was out for lunch with a dear friend a couple years ago and he “ordered” drinks and lunch. I can’t remember what he order but he was rolling because I thought he was trying to pull a fast one. How about I went to the “back” to make sure the drink had nothing in it. That was soooo funny to him. All he could as was “you don’t trust me?” Heck NO!!
No seriously, I did do that and that was funny. I don’t have any stories of losing shoes and stuff. Even when I did drank it was more the light stuff and sipping either cause I was in the company of drinkers or to socialize at the fullest. That memory just popped in my head…lol That was fuuunneeee. He was hanging on that for a minute.

Seriously, don’t mention sweets. I’m doing better. Gonna try and hit the gym in about 30 minutes. I do have to confess. Last Friday and one day this week. I got off the interstate, went into Krogers and bought a bag of gummy bears (another weakness). I had heartburn like a mug after polishing off a whole bag. The second stop I made I couldn’t finish the bag. The heartburn was just too awful. I had to pop two Zantecs. Needless to say the craving has significantly dropped. Okay, I did think for a hot sec to grab a few from the store downstairs.
I dunno what it is. Had two Piece of Cake cupcakes yesterday. Could have done three if nobody had seen me eating the other two. I know…help needed

Alright…didn’t do what I wanted on the treadmill but something is better than nothing…too, I’m sweating like a pig. Probably all that sugar coming out of my pores. 132 calories, 20 minutes, 1.20 miles. 3.0 elevation
