Object of desire or objectified?
I read an “opinion” recently by a man who believes that women love to be objectified. I thought about how chauvinistic that sounded, then I wondered what would make a guy think that? When a woman wants to be desired, we aren’t thinking of being objectified but that seems to be waht some men think.
I believe some women think there is a difference in how you are treated. When does it become a problem? Usually when it is accompanied by misogynist views and disrespectful behavior.
I’m sure men can argue that women objectify them too, they just don’t “whine” about it. Do men think women like, excuse me, love to be objectified? Is that why some men try to cat call at women on the street?
In your opinion, what is the difference between being the object of desire and being objectified?
What are the reasons men objectify women? Why do women objectify men?

When Jazzy T’s was open they did everything under the sun there, sometimes I’d be alone and other times with other friends. We’d say hey lets take this to the house and some would oblige. @Ex ~ seriously, no affect. That toothless man saying “hey baby” does nothing for me. By that I mean I snicker inside that he has confidence to believe a woman of my caliber (not being conceited) would really stop and engage in a convo with him. His flirt is empty to the walls of my soul, to my being. The law of probability dictates that if he keeps it up long enough with different type of women, one, heck maybe two, will exchange words of encouragement with him. Heck, the cross-eyed old geezer at Publix is always hitting on me and asking for my number. I commend his level of confidence, but sometimes I’m not sure if he’s talking to me while bagging my groceries or the lady in the next lane.

Woman’s Ass Size Study
There is a new study just released by the American Psychiatric Association about women and how they feel about their asses.
The results are pretty shocking:
1. Only 5% of women surveyed feel their ass is too big.
2. 10% of women surveyed feel their ass is too small.
3. The remaining 85% say they don’t care; they love him; he’s a good man and they would have married him anyway.

When I think objectified I think of a pedestal somebody has placed themseelf on or been put there by another. Me being firmly planted to the ground I now see something that’s above me, the snobby lady, the over confident lady, the me so great lady, the you’ll never have me lady, the you know you want it lady all can come down to my level with the right approach to each different personality. Do I think I’m all that nope it’s all about the ambience given off for that particular person.

@cba ~ today was the first time I got an opportunity to see what this 3rd guy looks like. I had a feeling, but wasn’t sure. Not sure if you remember, but he’s been in jail since my break in a year ago next week because he was 18 at the time. My paperwork said this would be a sentencing hearing, but instead he was arraigned for trial in 30 days. The sad part was I picked him out instantly because he was the only young punk there in the orange jumpsuit. He looked lost and scared…what a shame many of our youth are going down the drain without direction or desire to excel in their lives.

Strip clubs don’t excite any more unlike back then
I would rather go to a club and see phine women,especially when it’s summer like now.

Leggs I remembered but I didn’t know how many were arrested. In today’s environment, it’s good you have the fortitude to see this through. Last Sunday, I read the article about the young lady in Douglasville who lost her son to those thugs. She appears very strong and determined.

@cba ~ I have to see it through! I’m enjoying the twist in that they got caught breaking into my home. The one neighbor who provided them with water, icees, even food while they played bball for a good 3 years. I like the fact that the kind lady who helped them, also helped snag them! They say it takes a village, and although my hut had a little fire in the corner, I’m still going to assist children where I can.
Not sure if you guys remember the young lady I caught having sex on the air conditioning unit while looking out my kitchen window, she has come to my home twice this year to tell me about her progress in college, she has no kids, introduced me to her new boyfriend and always ends the visit with a hug and a thank you for talking/chastising her with the TRUTH!

I go for the girl nobody wants, or find attractive. I remember at Hairston’s this very attractive lady came over to me and said when she looked at me she saw money. I’ll bet I didn’t thirty bucks in my pocket, I thought where the hell did that come from, cause I don’t flaunt or need attention. It was how I was dressed, presentation, and the way I carried myself is my guess.
