Caught in a love triangle?

Have you ever found yourself stuck in a love triangle? No, not the sexy one..the annoying kind. I’m talking about a love triangle that is completely unplanned, unwelcome, and unbearably annoying.

You meet someone great and things seem to be going really well. One day, they happen to mention an ex that is still in the picture. Oh, they aren’t “involved” anymore, they just decided to stay in each others’ lives. Then they tell you the person is married and was also married when they were involved.

What would you do in this situation? If you get the sense that the person you are dating still has feelings – and possibly sexual intimacy with someone else, shouldn’t you run for the hills? Would you try to talk it out and give it more time?

How do people manage to get themselves caught in a love triangle, anyway? If you are hung up on somebody else, shouldn’t you take a break from dating? This is worse than being the rebound girl/guy!

If you feel a strong connection with someone, would you be willing to “stick it out” until the love triangle situation goes away or is that a emotional suicide mission?

Is it truly possible to be torn between two people? Isn’t one of them getting the short end of the stick?

I know what you mean, Leggs. As you can tell from my post, I felt guilty laughing. But in the end, he seemed to be a good sport about it, and his sister set him up so I thought maybe it was kind of a running family joke. I hope so, anyway. :)

i like her because it seems her albums are a soundtrack to her life. You can hear and feel the happiness/hurt in her songs.

Speak on it Willie! I agree because her music usually does reflect what she’s going through. Man when I saw her at Philips…she sang this one song that she prefaced by asking the crowd, “How do you say I’m sorry…I messed up and I know I’m wrong”, and she sang this really moving ballad . She was so emotional that by the end of the song she was singing and crying on stage…I was misty my damned self…

I also do a countdown workout.

15 squats
15 lunges
15 push ups
15 curls
15 crunches

Then
14 squats
14 lunges
14 push ups
14 curls
14 crunches

Then 13 of each
Then 12….

And so on.

I also will mix and match different exercises to put in the countdown.

How about I go to the Publix down the street from my job & purchase a jar of peanut butter to make a sandwich and keep at my desk. I get here all tuned up to make my sandwich, open the jar and it’s been tampered with!! The sealing is peeled off and it’s been dug into and eaten out of real good! Now I have to take it back, and that’s a major pain. I’m am SO MAD!!!

Oooooh, SC. Go to Bridals by Lori, so we can see you on Say Yes to the Dress. I was watching that the other day, and this girl described her sister’s (the bride’s) sense of style as Pentecostal Chic! I ROTF!

Did anyone see the young lady feathered into today’s ajc lifestyle weight loss? She has lost 70lbs, from 345. She said at 345, her ankles would just roll over as she walked. Now she has ran in the last two PT races. She’s looking really good……I like reading those good news stories.

Just remember about the D.O.M.S after those squats and lunges if you haven’t been doing any.

And speaking of Bridals by Lori, I was flipping through the channels the other night and Madeas Family Reunion was on and at the scene where Vanessa is leaving work and getting on Frankie’s bus. And I realized that the building where “Vanessa” works is Bridals by Lori. Hunh. Who knew.

@kimmie ~ people are always going into peoples lunches here. I got fed up one day after someone tampered with my short ribs, cabbage rice n gravy (a few years ago). I put a sign on the fridge’s door saying how they should be ashamed of themselves and that I want to be compensated for my lunch. They could leave $10.00 at my desk no questions asked. A few days later, there was a $10.00 bill on my keyboard. Another time, when I was really into drinking my Fanta Orange, went to get my can of soda and someone had opened it, drank half, and put it back. Really, do you really expect me to guzzle down the rest. These lunch thieves are off the chain. No shame!

SCool – When you are ready to shop, check out this little shop over on Windy Hill called Tie The Knot. Two sisters own it and they have some beautiful things. Not only bridal gowns, but gorgeous jewelry and accessories, dresses for others in your wedding party and other cocktail and special occasion dresses. I got a really nice cocktail dress on sale that I took to Vegas, a nice cocktail ring and a flower for my hair for the wedding. They have stuff you don’t see everywhere and they are some nice sisters. I’ll tell you how to get there if you want to check them out.

I read about Kizzy, too. Yep when your ankles get to rollin over own they’re own something’s gotta be done. When I read her height/weight and then saw her I was shocked but I’m glad she stuck with it.

so we can see you on Say Yes to the Dress.

I like watching that show sometimes and was looking at an episode the other day…a young lady(plus size with some issues it seemed), brought her fiance’s ex-girlfriend with her to pick out dresses and the ex was such a biotch. She had the bride to be so self conscious it was awful…I was trying to figure out why in hell she was there in the first place…
