Your dating duty: Tell the truth
I have always thought that one of the toughest things about dating is not really getting feedback when things don’t work out. A lot of us are walking around completely oblivious to the reason why we are running people off.
While all of our egos may be safely intact, we don’t get a chance to address any personal growth issues that may need to dealt with. Things like having a temper, poor communication issues, bad kisser, or worse, bad bedroom etiquette – can all be problematic.
So is it our duty and obligation to be more honest with the people we meet, date, and er dump? Would it be helpful to hear the truth about ourselves? Could you tell a person they were bad in bed?
What do you think would happen if we would “stop being polite, and start getting real” in the real world of dating?
Has anyone ever told you the cold hard truth? Did you handle it well or did it invoke a bad reaction?

I know guys. I am truly blessed no one is on this side of the bldg yet and my boss hasn’t shown up for work yet. I may never wear this blouse again. First time wearing, but I don’t need to be walking around with slippage problems.

@Fion – Even to this day, I don’t think I’ve ever truly moved on. He was a great guy – someone I could have seen myself with long-term. That doesn’t stop me from dating others, but I do find myself comparing my new potentials to him…which isn’t quite fair.

@single ~ I was in a position much like yours. Everything was right with us. Chemistry, sex, convo, values, character, etc. It was damn near perfect. He backed off one evening when we were suppose to go to dinner. He never showed up, stop answering my phone calls. I was a mess and cried a lot. All I could do was work and go home back to bed and weep. Months later he called asking to meet with me. Of course, I met with him. He noticed the weight loss and commented. I told him how much I was affected by what he did. He told he still loved me, but he was scared because he could see himself marrying me so he booked. Because my emotions were healed by the time of our meeting, it was easy for me to walk away.

Now that it’s confirmed that we will have Football season, I have a story for ya
Couple of seasons age I’m at a falcons Tailgate party. Festive nice scene. Good mix, male, female and couples. This one chick in particular was Fine as Hell. Scale of 1-10, solid 8.5. She had on a bangin’ thigh- high mini.
Let me put this in perspective for you, she was so fine she made the other women nervous.
Dudes there with wives or S/O were damn near scared to look.
Anyway, she goes over to her car to get something out of the back seat. Puts one knee on the back seat and there it is right there in my face. A clean shot at the title.
She didn’t have on any ‘Draws”. Fellas, I was stunned for a second, I was thinking, “is that the Punanni, Daaaaymun”. I was at that chick the rest of the party and into the game.
A few months back the Topic was Single woman Married man. Well, this is the chick that’s the friend of my female friend.
I met her that day. Fine as hell and won’t give me no kind of play and all hung up on this married dude.
