Dating Mr. Serious: Dude, chill
My new guy/beau is a little on the high strung side. I think he likes the fact that I encourage – ok force- him to relax and enjoy the time we spend together.
I have a really silly, playful side at times and I love to laugh and have fun when I’m on a date. During our first few outings, I admit I was ready to deuce him out! He is making an effort to chill out but I get the sense that he has never really let himself unwind and have fun that much before.
It is kind of fun and interesting to watch him explore the simple
things that relaxes him! What do you do to unwind? Have you found that the serious/intense people you date often are the most fun to be around once they kick back?
What is the most relaxing and laid back date you have had?
On a semi-related sidebar: Why does it seem as if some men don’t want to outwardly express happiness or feelings of content. It’s actually difficult to determine when you are happy in our presence sometimes! What gives?

I know they’re supposed to be trendy and all but yeah, some of their earrings and shoes are a bit extreme. Some I dig but some, ut uh. The peacock earrings Jennifer had on was distracting. Those things covered her shoulders almost and hung down to the top of her strapless dress.

Celisea – Amen to that! I hear people saying that kind of thing all the time, that the ATL housewives show makes ATL look bad or NJ housewives make NJ look bad, etc. One of my college friends that lived here for years even asked me if the ATL housewives really represent the upper echelon here now? Are you kidding me??!! A handful of folk on a reality show, basically some groupies, can “represent” an entire city?? Folks that are just out to make money? That have been coached that the more they act up the better the ratings will be?? Really?? Come on!!

I didn’t get the title eithe. There was another chick on there last season, don’t know her name. She was living with a player and they all hated on her because she wouldn’t see the light. That cheating comes with that profession. She said they were happy. Not sure if he cheated and she left. It was her sister that supposedly cheated with Shaq. Needless to say Shaunie wasn’t feeling her too much.

I know i’m all late and shyyyyyyt but Blackfoote, there was a NFL wives show and it seemed to me like they were all a few checks away from being broke. NFL apparently have a whole nother set of rules when it comes to getting paid and the insurance doesn’t last much longer after they stop playing.

Oh my thoughts about the Evelyn and Jennifer thing was Jen didn’t say anything different than what she told Evelyn when the whole Ochocinco deal came up. And guess what, that was TAPED for the TV show. So for Ev to get her panties in a wad about her saying it on the radio was just plain WACK! The show was seen by wayyy more folks than folks her that radio interview.

I know the origin of the “housewives” title. It all stemmed from Desperate Housewives. Then Bravo created a reality show called the REAL Housewives of Orange County. Supposedly to show how these women really lived. All of the women on that show were not married, just like all are not married on Desperate Housewives. You had like 3 actual wives, a single mom, a divorce’ and one shacking with a fiance’ on the Real OC show, kinda like DH. So really, there was never a hard fast requirement to actually be a wife.

ITL….I think Julio will be a valuable asset to the Falcons. As long as the expectations on him are not too great (rookie) he should be fine. He is an incredible athlete….Will certainly take some of the pressure off of Roddy and will open on T. Gonzalez much more.

I dunnnooo….I can be lazy when it comes to that. When I am doing something consistantly I’ve had to REAAALLY talk myself up there or clothes feeling snug. Usually it’s the latter that will get me motivated…lol

Seriously if you want a very easy cardio plan I can put one together for you. I have taken a non runner/ non exerciser and had her running a marathon in 6 months. If any of this blog fiestiness is part of your real life personality you can do it.
