Dating Mr. Serious: Dude, chill
My new guy/beau is a little on the high strung side. I think he likes the fact that I encourage – ok force- him to relax and enjoy the time we spend together.
I have a really silly, playful side at times and I love to laugh and have fun when I’m on a date. During our first few outings, I admit I was ready to deuce him out! He is making an effort to chill out but I get the sense that he has never really let himself unwind and have fun that much before.
It is kind of fun and interesting to watch him explore the simple
things that relaxes him! What do you do to unwind? Have you found that the serious/intense people you date often are the most fun to be around once they kick back?
What is the most relaxing and laid back date you have had?
On a semi-related sidebar: Why does it seem as if some men don’t want to outwardly express happiness or feelings of content. It’s actually difficult to determine when you are happy in our presence sometimes! What gives?

NY2GA – I felt bad for her. I don’t think she meant any harm. Evelyn can see she’s not been all gongho on her and Ocho but she never really says it. Just asked Evelyn if that’s what she wanted to do. I don’t think going in on her like she did was really the thing to do on camera. They’re supposed to be friends.

@UGA ~ I know nothing about football. A newly acquainted soon to be friend seems to know a lot about football. She’s coming over to watch a game with me and told me about her 2 gfs. I told her to bring them to and they all can give me some pointers.
@Blackfoote ~ there’s so much reality tv going on you’ll have to pick something. I like reality tv. I would think most men wouldn’t.

@PR ~ Jennifer is divorcing her jabber jaws husband Eric ?? who played for ??. Evelyn was engaged to someone. Shaunie was married to Shaq and this show is her baby. Susie is just a mess, don’t know where she nor Royce come into play. I like Royce cuz she’s spunky, but she falls in love quickly. I think she’s looking for something but going way too fast about it. JMO! I’m glad Shaunie reached out to Tami and invited her to the show because I sensed she really needed the $$ and a boost to her self-esteem!!! However, don’t give Tami a beer because she goes ballistic and want to fight!

PR – Royce has a kid from Dwight Howard…is he playing for Orlando? They are not married, except for Meeka I believe. The rest have baby daddies, was in engaged or divorced. Either way they’re benefit some form or another by being associated…either from the show, from have a baby with a ballplayer, from child support…something. All about money.

ITL – No I didn’t…I’m stil working. Sometimes I have to make myself get up and go to lunch. I worked Friday until after eight. Had to clear some of this stuff off my desk. It’s hard to get away…unless someone asks me if I want to grab lunch. Otherwise I’ll work (and blog) past 2:00 or close to 3:00 before looking up

@PR ~ None of them are married. There only claim to fame seems to be who they used to be connected to. Royce has never been married, she was a cheerleader on some team.
@any WLB who watches the show ~ did I miss an episode because I’ve never seen Evelyn sell anything out of her shoe store???? Is the store a mere “shell” to make it appear she has something to offer.
And, her treatment of Jennifer is wrong. Prime example of how respect so easily flies out the window. A true friendship can withstand that comment she made on the radio. Evelyn took it too far and, I believe, she’s making up for how foolish she looked when Tami tried to decapitate her and the end of last season! Evelyn looked foolish.

Oh, Evelyn has a shoe store. Royce is writing/wrote a book. Shaunie’s show (aside from her trappings and hiding and storing up during her marriage…go girl). Still they’re making money from the show. Not knocking ‘em though. Aside from acting like alley cats and alley bats in the streets, I say make that money!!

PR….you are really comparing the Falcons to the Vikings. 13-3 what? Best record in the NFC last year. I will give you that Aaron Rogers TORE us up but they did win the superbowl. Vikings have a long way to go and I really dont think McNabb is a good fit. They should have kept T. Jackson.
