Friends don’t let friends cheat

I recently read an article about a groom to be who hooked up with a stripper at his bachelor party. Apparently, it was suggested/cheered on/witnessed by his friends to have one final romp. I thought about what kind of predicament the man found himself in and almost felt bad for the guy. Almost.

I mean if he stood his ground and said no, absolutely not, what is the worst that would have happened? He would have been clowned and maybe endure a few jokes about it. In my female and totally logical mind (ha), that is a small price to pay.

I am curious as to why people encourage someone to cheat on their mates. If you decide on your own, that’s one thing. Why go out of your way and prod a friend to do the same?
It may seem like this happens among males more but I think females are guilty of it just as much.

Do you think too many of us encourage, support, and condone infidelity?

When you are dating someone, do you ask them if they have ever cheated or been unfaithful? Do you find out what their views are about infidelity? What if all or most of their friends were unfaithful to their mates?

Happy Friday!

Don’t forget the potted meat….wasn’t too fond of that one either. It was spreaded over the saltine crackers…what a salty combination that is to digest now…yuck! Enough of sodium to cause a stroke!

my granny used to call them vi-eeeeenas~FUNNY

Leggs you’re right It was very unhealthy but it was cheap n plentiful and when you’re on a budget you gotta make ends meet by whatever salty, fatty means you can. I laugh at it now when I think about souse meat and why it had to stay cold but as a child you don’t know those things. When I go to the nursing home to visit with my granny, we laugh about it and thank God for how He’s brought us a mighty looong way. :-)

I always got my mom to buy the deviled ham because of the devil on the label. Hated the taste of the meat, but I would keep the label to play with as a kid.

The worst meat I had to eat was Tongue and that turkey loaf. White meat on half and dark meat the other half. Can you imagine a white side and a brown side of one loaf. Disgusting! I nibbled as much as I could before throwing most of it out the window down in the alley before my mother could come back in yelling at me for being a slow eater. Pretty sure I contributed to some of the rats in NYC.

Never had fish and grits. Was real curious about shrimp and grits and how many said it was good. I definitely didn’t understand the concept, but had some at Emeril’s before they closed. It was delicious.

Much like chicken and waffles, I don’t understand that concept either, but apparently its popular.

@Sassy ~ another dish I hated. I would gag. Do not do pork-n-beans. Between that and Chef Boyarde, I did a lot of throwing up as a kid. I have given my child pork-n-beans and hopefully I can continue not giving her that. No can food for me. I had my fill. Well I do eat corn out of the can (sometimes) and that can salmon to make salmon croquettes.

Speaking about breakfast from back in the day, I think I’m going to make some homefries with my eggs and OJ.
