I resolve to live it up!
It can be pretty profound hearing about “untimely” deaths and seeing really tragic events take place right at the end of the year. I’m normally pensive and reflective as it is, but when I take a moment to consider how life really is a journey, I begin to think about making the journey more meaningful.
Life is short. Life is beautiful. Life is precious. If anything this past year has taught me, its that you can plan all you want but sometimes you have to just enjoy life as it comes.
I resolve to focus less on what is missing because it takes away from appreciating what’s not missing.
I have a propensity to plan everything and I try to take small, calculated risks (Exciting, I know, it’s how I roll!) Throwing caution to the wind can actually be a fun thing (within reason?), so I would love to see what happens when I try it.
I can only make one dating resolution that I know has a high success rate: Have fun. That’s it. What about you? Do you think making resolutions work?

I just read that article about Vick. As the Stews would say ” let’s keep it real” Another angry azz white man. Since our president spoke to the Eagles owner about giving Vick a second chance, you could see this coming. Of course, from Hannity substitute on faux FOX.

Good day people! I don’t have a resolution but I promised myself to do more of the good and less of the bad in 2011. Keep it simple and enjoy life.
BTW, I’m an Eagles fan so I’m still shook from last night. We gonna be alright though.

Remember two years ago Blackwater got in a squirmish with who they thought were insurgents in Iraq. They killed practically everyone in a small village there and the only thing the government did was terminate their contract.

You are not alone…I was watching a show about prison life and this one chick was there to see her boyfriend(her brother introduced them while she was visiting him in prison) and she was soo in love with this guy and I’m sitting there like

I’m still trying to swallow how dude that killed the little girl drove away from the scene and only got thirty days in jail. He went around a bus crossing over the double lines hit the child and kept going. WTF HOW 30 DAYS!

BLACKFOOTE….I am so not one of those chicks that would wait on some fool to get out of prison. You do the crime…you do the time by your dayum self! Time waits for no man so nor do I! It boggles my mind to see ghetto a$$ folks would throw a blockparty/BBQ/Party for the fool getting out of jail. But the guy coming from from graduating college or as you said serving their country gets bupkis…nada….zilch! WTH kind of crap is that?

Also I wish these Vick haters would just kill themselves. Get over it. I like animals and do I agree with what he did….NO! However he did he time (which I think was overkill) let it go. Like you stated…a child murderer got a month….that’s it? Nobody’s beating dpown his door and trying to stop him from making a living. They are all just mad that Vick’s life did no fall apart. Me,too…let it go. Had he been somewhere on drugs all washed up they would’ve been happy but now that he’s shining and doing a helluva good job they hate it…they hate to see him succeed n prosper. Brett Fart sexually harassed someone when he was with the Jets but all he’s gonna get is fined and nothing ever happened to Big Ben and he’s been accused by several women but ain’t sh!t ever happened to him. I don’t really care one way or the other about Vick’s success. He served his time and is doing well…good for him. I personally just don’t like him because of what he did. I also don’t like any person who kills people. Good for him for getting a second chance and for taking advantage of it. A lot of people pay their debt and go back to being criminals…look at the guy who killed that officer the other day. He’s been in jail 18 times…he should have never been on the streets. It’s a shame.

Michael Vick…..Living well and doing well is all we need to see. I’m happy for him….gooo Mike! Let the haters do what they do best. I believe he’s living well because what he got was unfair, unbalanced and biased. There are many wrongs that’s gonna get “righted” in time. Our judicial system (laws of the land) was ordained and put in place to govern and rightly execute judgement for wrongs and crimes but when those in place become obscure and fail to rightly hear and pass judgement accordingly and as intended by the law, then you can trust God will do it…on his own, in his own time.
I ain’t tryna get all churchy today but ya’ll know I can’t resist:

Beautiful…they were caught up…they were simply caught! Caught doing shhhhh they KNOW they should not have! I do not feel sorry for them. I understand life deals some of us a bad hand. But a killer, rapist, etc. does not get sympathy. They ony have themselves to blame…unless it was self defense!
