Naughty, nice, or somewhere in between
It’s almost time to say goodbye to 2010! I can’t believe how much difference one year makes. I have to say that I had moments of clarity. I have been naughty, nice, and then somewhere in between the two. Thankfully I don’t have many regrets and looking back over the past year, dating has been fairly pleasant!
How would you describe your dating misadventures and adventures this year? Naughty, nice, or a little in between? Have you thought about making any changes to your approach or attitude for 2011?
Is there something new you didn’t try that you are thinking of exploring? Maybe we can inspire one another to shake things up for the new year!

Dreams I agree…sometimes it’s not necessarily one VERSUS the other but merely a broadening. However and in most cases when it comes to dating the level of quality never really stacks and sort of pales in comparison against the number of random folks you can find just laying around waiting to date.

Celisea I’d agree that “laying around waiting to date” isn’t usually going to yield quality. If someone is just waiting around for people to date them, then they get whatever they get. The quality comes by being proactive and directing your efforts appropriately.

Dreams – Quantity vs Quality isn’t necessarily a dichotomy
However my 1:03 and 1:05 was a direct response to this. I believe we’re all acutely aware of “effort” needing to be very present but what that when a person lacks the quality you need to sustain a potentially fulfilling relationship? You can be proactive and make all the necessary stides for building but if you’re dealing with a whack dude…what’s it all for anway? Dig where I was going? That’s all I’m saying. So back to the original…I don’t want to be proactive or place efforts unless it’s a person of substance and quality.

Honestly Dreams..sometimes you won’t see or I should say witness or experience…but sometimes you just have to rely your gut. More often than not, you’ll get a sprinkle of “nothingness” without having to walk all the under the waterfall to get wet.

Celisea – I will catch up with the Quality vs. Quantity discussion going on with Dreams, but in regards to International travel, I am with you. It’s something I am hoping for but definitely gonna take a lot of planning and saving … Instead of spur of the moment spending like I’ve been doing..
