Christmas gifts gone wrong
If you have met someone new and have contemplated buying a present for Christmas, I urge you to be mindful of what you choose. In some cases, it may even be better to not buy anything at all.
If you have known each other for a short time, a really nice date or special outing may be the way to go. I know some classy people decide to dump their potential relationships to avoid the gift exchange, but it doesn’t have to happen that way!
I have seen gift exchanges derail a new romance simply because the person didn’t know enough about their date. You can misjudge their humor or personal taste and come off looking like a jerk.
Guys, don’t give someone you just started dating lingerie. It’s just lose-lose and way too risky, it’s hard to live down a bad gift purchase like that!
What is the best and worst Christmas exchange you have had?
I can recall this one guy that gave me what I thought was drug paraphernalia but it turned out to be an odd shaped crystal piece. It’s always good when the person can tell what the gift is right away!
Whatever you receive, good or bad, remember to be gracious and say thank you! Even if you have the urge to hurl the empty box at their head. Don’t do it!

Leggs – I hope she is pleasantly surprised at the end. A few $1 bills will get her pissed real fast. But then again ahe knows how you get down and will wait to open the smallest box first. you are so predictable. Funny story bout gifts for the kids, My daughter about a month ago gave me this waaaaay long list (rolled up like a scroll) that had everything under the sun on it for X-mas. Last week we asked for the list back and gave me a new one with only 1 thing on it. She wanted Santa to make her Daddy pain go away, awwwwwwwwwww.

And since Blackfoote brought up football can I go ahead and put out my Superbowl predictions…or rather my superbowl dream..While I love my Steelers..Defense needs to tighten up so I see us(excuse me let me dry my eyes) not getting but so far in the playoffs..I hope we do..lord I hope we do..but if we don’t its going to be The Tom Bradys for the AFC..and the Michael Vicks for the NFC..

The falcons will play the eagles in the divisional game…looks like the giants and eagles will play in the wild card game…nfc east has done this the last couple of years…teams from there division playing three times…with one team winning all three

Football talk – Since my team is out of it I just want to see some good ball.Every team has some flaws but its basically down to 5 teams in my book;
AFC = Pats looking like the favorites and will have home field advantage. Jets still have Sanchez at QB so they won’t make it. Pitt – Heart of a champ but they better figure out how to run the ball and pray that the long-haired dude gets healthy.
NFC= Falcons – got a shot at it this year. Can’t put my finger on it but they have to find a way to beat Philly Home or Away. Philly – Favorite because of the offense. They better figure out how to stop the run, fast.

Now falcons got Ryan, he can throw but White is no break out fast like that.. And Gonzalez can catch but is slow…then Douglas? pleeeese,he slow so I like to root falcons but I’m kinda scared for them in case they meet Brady or Vick or Peyton at top level
