Top dating mistakes: Are you on the DNA list?
DNA is the DO NOT ANSWER list in a cell phone. It’s reserved for the folks that have shown a side of themselves that took them out of the running. A lot of dating mistakes land you on the DNA list but you may not even realize why or when you got DNA-listed!
I’m probably on someone’s DNA list because I have a very bad habit of acting too aloof. It’s this stupid behavior I have that I’m pretty sure has sent the wrong message to the right guy! I believe my DNA list is fairly short. Only two gents are on it. One for having a tendency to drink too much and call me, the other because he made plans with me and didn’t follow through.
What makes you put a person on your DNA list? I’m curious to know if men ever flag women they date or do they just put their numbers in the “in case of emergency” list aka the little black book?

What makes you not want to take someone’s phone call?
If their convo is boring as heck! You seem to be the one that’s keeping it flowing by thinking of things to talk about and there isn’t really any dialogue!

Convo that’s either so boring or crazy I cringe when I see their name..or behavior that makes me uncomfortable like some stalkerish type stuff. Generally I don’t back track so if we’re not cool anymore that’s an automatice DNA situation…

Good Morning everyone! I have people that are on my DNA list but not necessarily for dating reasons. Well anyway, as far as the ones who are for dating reasons: 1 is on there because he was stalking me, 2 is on there because he is a maniac, but they don’t call me anymore. I generally don’t get calls from people that I don’t wish to speak to. I usually tell them up front not to call me anymore. I don’t feel its right to just ignore someone’s efforts to contact you. Unless they did something absolutely ohdee I’ll tell them not to contact me before I igg them. But that’s just me.

Women do this so I’m sure men do as well and actually I’ve seen a guys phone where he had the women labeled “Delilah #1,#2″ and so on…go figure.

what gets someone on my DNA list? the needy types, the ones who you arent into anything serious with, may have just met or only been out a couple of times, every time they talk to you are “did you miss me?”, “when are you coming this way”…..

The turth of the matter is, some of these women out here are straight “Crazy”. The thing is they

@Mr_NYC – How in the world can I get to miss you if you keep calling all the dayum time. – ^5. and how can i get to missing you if everytime we talk, the first 5 minutes is “did i miss you”. i ignore the question, try to get to some real convo, and you keep coming back to that?

DNA List? Summer fling “thought” I called her a “golddigger.” She hung up on me; called her two months later and she told me she’d forgotten me, deleted my number, and to never call her again. Ouch!
Side note: I’m still debate whether I should send her flowers/plant for her birthday in a couple of weeks. She took me out for mine back in June.

It’s my phone and I’m not obligated to answer it if I don’t want to! Heck, I don’t even need to OWN a phone if I don’t want to. If for whatever reason I see your number on the caller id and I don’t feel like talking to you, guess what? And I don’t feel the least bit guilty about igging you. There are worst things in the world than to be igged. Heck, I’m trying to let you down easy!
There have only been a few that I have had to tell straight out don’t call me. Otherwise, things just naturally take their course. I don’t double back, so if months or years later after we break up and you call, don’t expect me to answer because I won’t. If I wanted to keep in contact, I would.
I’m not much of a phone person, never have been, so if I’m on some dudes DNA list, I don’t know about it. I don’t normally burn bridges like that, where some dude doesn’t want to see me calling. But really none have to worry, cause again, I don’t double back. I’ve only called one guy from my past and that was only because he was one of the few I remained friends with and I still talk to his sister from time to time.

I never put people on DNA lists. I don’t like unfinished bad business lingering in my head. I am str8 up with folks. Either we dealing or we not dealing and that eliminates the need for cat and mouse games or DNA games.

Calling only wanting to come hang out on my couch (phck yo’ couch…sorry, couldn’t resist! lol)
(These are all key indicators that a dude is trying to steer you into a certain category.

I just stopped taking those calls. Instead of actively labeling it as DNA, I just ignored the calls when they came.

the DNA list is for those that are just plain empty and annotying, your empty when you have nothing of substance to give to the relationship, your annoying when you nag on the call or so into me than i ever could be in you and it shows when you call. the did you miss me ones are the worste but nothing beats the ones that say ‘ i dont drink” then call friday and sat night with slurred speech saying ” did you miss me” YUCK

Good day folks.
First, if you have an Android phone, there is a checkbox under every contact in which you can send them straight to voicemail. Its quite useful.
For guys, what puts a woman on my DNA list is usually 5 reasons:
1. She is just too flakey. Always makes plans and flakes out.
2. She may just be to boring. Always wanting to do stuff but not really fun to be around.
3. She may be using you socially. She only calls you when a new Tyler Perry movie comes out or a new restaurant opens that she wants to try and not spend her own money on.
4. She may just have a scandelous disposition aka she just comes at you the wrong way. I may not like her attitude and/or my interaction with her.
5. She may just like to have alot of male friends around her for ego and attention stroking reasons. She may just like having guys follow her around like a puppy just to stroke her ego.
What makes me not want to take her call if she always has some drama, problems, or a crisis. Cant stand that!
