There are scores of women who are completely clueless when it comes to recognizing how a man shows his love. Of course every man has their own unique way of expressing their affection and love. I think part of a woman’s job in a relationship is learning who her man is and how he expresses himself.
Granted, some men are hard to figure out, but aren’t there ways to tell when a man is in love?

I think you can segue any topic into shopping and fashion
Well DreamsMat when it’s one of many things I do well it’s not that difficult. And my analogy is the perfect one if you are into looking good.
I have a fabulous shoe collector and have put much thought into my wardrobe but I can’t just walk into my closet blindly grab a shirt, a skirt and a pair of shoes and have it automatically work right together. You have to coordinate. LOL And then you accessorize for added enhancement which would be the little things that do matter that a couple does for each other.

I was just reading some of the earlier posts by the women on this blog regarding how y’all can tell when a man loves you or not…. smdh, you all were pretty much just stating what y’all “Think or Want” a man to show you love. Based on what I’ve gathered here, If I’d know you all in person and was in love with one of you, you’d never know it. SMDH!!!

2CPTG was on point about when a man loves a women… you’d have to know the man personally, individually to really get “it” and NOT some pre-defined cookie-cutting notions of love y’all been talking about.

Most of the women seemed to have said that – most were describing how THEIR men loved them.
Reading is fundamental.

I just asked my babe brother about “love”. He says in this day and time love is more than just paying the rent and coming home. He says it’s the extras. The way he put it is a man has to have somewhere to live and somewhere to lay his head so if he is responsible and about his business is going to keep the rent paid for his own comfort and wellbeing if nothing else. She is just there until she is not there anymore.
He said many men are still living with women they don’t love paying the mortgage but she is not getting much of anything else out of him. She is not getting his time, she is not getting his laughter and she is not getting his “best”. But he is there.
He says he shows his wife-to-be love by catering to her desire. Doing the little extras. He said paying the mortgage is a no brainer but getting him to give up his chair or watch what she wants to watch is done because he loves her. He said a man shows his love by taking away from himself and giving to her. Giving up his time he could be doing one thing to do something with her.
He ended by saying people do most things for their own benefit, happiness and gain but when you do for the benefit, happiness and gain of someone else that’s love.
On that note, I am out. I have carpool today so I gotta run.
Percy Sledge said it best…
When a man loves a woman
Can’t keep his mind on nothing else
He’ll trade the world
For the good thing he’s found
If she’s bad he can’t see it
She can do no wrong
Turn his back on his best friend
If he put her down

“some of us know a dude tryna get azz will perform just like the real thing…”
proof positive u still don’t get “it” you can’t perform it, Love isn’t a performance piece (rather you realize dudes be trying to fake it or not). either it IS or it ISN’T period. all the stuff guys do for their women isn’t love, it isn’t proof that he loves you, but rather “it” is the reason WHY he does the special things for you, “it” is the reason why men “put-up” with women for long haul.
Waiting for a man to “show” you he loves you is the reason why dudes (fakers) be gaming ya’ll in the first place. You should come to a point of knowing that he loves you before you accepting what he does or what he says…
