Do you believe in karma?

I took a quick trip to Savannah this weekend and I had a ball. I absolutely love it there and going on Halloween weekend only made it more…interesting. We took one of those ghosts and graveyard tours throughout historical parts of the city. A lot of history there!

As I was putting on a brave front, I was thinking that it was a good thing I didn’t have any bad karma coming my way. That would probably have been a good time to pay for something I had done to somebody else…well, if you believe in that sort of thing.

Do you believe in karma? Do you find comfort knowing that people that have treated you horribly in relationships will one day end up miserable?

Happy Monday! How was your weekend?!

Luv: Read my 11:39

Swiss: “And trying to have a rational discussion with folks like that is even more fun” – I tried last night and show we do not get to just change the definition of words all willie nilly I told her I be “ummm” means touch my breast.

YISC: “For Real our whole lives are shaped by perception.” – Gotta disagree with you here. Perception is someone’s else’s interpretation and I don’t live my life by what other think. “Slightly different because we as westerners have taken the term and made it our own.” – ummm, that kinda proves my point of change the definition of words to suit your purpose. Then what’s a fact?

evy: Let me correct myself “except for natural disasters” but the tunguska event is one of my favorites still haven’t come to a conclusion as to what took place. I lean toward a gas filled meteorite.

Actually, the last guy to really do me wrong hasn’t suffered any consequences. He finally married the girl he cheated on me with, and they are expecting their first child. Sometimes the best things happen to the crapiest people. My advice, pick yourself up off the floor, shake the anger off, and move with your life. Something better is bound to come along.

Simple Man, lol I have XM Radio, CD ac/heater a seat warmer in it and everything. I was doing some crop stuff before the heavy snow came. Around 4am I am walking out the door every morning now getting in my brand new John Deere :) We are trying to get these silos constructed so I can store some feed before it spoils so the livestock will be set.

“I was programming the stations in my tractor” – That’s the first time I have ever heard that before.

blue, you get used to it. My wife wakes up around 7:30, but we are usually at my parents home around 830 eating breakfast with all the farm hands. (somedays she joins us somedays she has to be at her job) We always eat breakfast and lunch at my parents. Lunch is cool because some of the other peoples family come out.

“Gotta disagree with you here. Perception is someone’s else’s interpretation and I don’t live my life by what other think.” – Actually if you have any religious, philosophical or cultural beliefs otherwise this is based on the perception of how life should be, will be, or could be lived by the ones who existed before us. Everyone perceives life differently there is a difference between what actually happens and how we perceive it. 5 people from 5 different countries can interpret one event 5 different ways. Doesn’t mean any of them are lying. It is there perception…..

“Slightly different because we as westerners have taken the term and made it our own.” – ummm, that kinda proves my point of change the definition of words to suit your purpose. Then what’s a fact?” – etymology wise there are tons of words in the english language that have changed meaning from its true english meaning either or because they are language borrow words. Many people from different countries especially the UK can say most of our language is “changing it to suit an american purpose”….in that case the whole american dialect of english is a fraud.

But I agree to disagree with you.

Please ... Help!!!

Whose karma is it when I catch my wife in the bed with my 1st cousin … His (good) b/c he lucked up on a good piece of A**, Her’s (bad) b/c she let a dude that still live with his mama slide in and score … or me (bad) for my years of running the streets with lil regards about her even knowing my misdeeds … keep in mind … I’ve been faithful for the past two yrs.

@ for real: language (any language) either evolves or dies. while i am not an advocate of such drastic and self-serving changes as using ‘ummm’ – generally, i believe, a sort of verbal tic used, for example, when one is distracted or needs a moment to think – to mean instead ‘touch my breast’, if you check out the etymology on any dozen random words you wil probably see a difference in application over time. languages incorporate words and phrases originally of foreign origin into their own everyday vernacular all the time, are ‘updated’ with newly invented slang, abbreviations and such. and ” perception is someone else’s interpretation”? do you have no perceptions of your own?

Law of karma is designed to encourage people to beg for forgiveness – this guilt conscious and an aptitude to request for help and forgiveness the first step towards being spiritual – its almost impossible to be good in this world and catch is that all of our actions will have negative reaction – so it behooves a reasonably intelligent person to seek mercy from the infinite – but this has to be at the cost of change of heart and seeking higher state of existance finding bliss in service than enjoyment.

Exit stage right!

Christianity is incompatible with the idea of karma. Otherwise, since we’re all sinners and have done bad or terrible things, we’d all get nothing but grief. Due to the Lord’s grace, we don’t. Karma’s origins are along the lines of being reincarnated to a higher or lower state of being based on your own actions, which also contradicts Christianity.

One can’t believe in both Christianity and karma.

Simple Man, it’s not for pleasure it will have a good return on investment. It took over a month to get the loans done, the easy part was that my family gave me the land but putting the equipment in was the hard part.

Luv Bug, I don’t have any hands yet. But my parents have about 9, they make good money. Next Year I am hoping to be able to hire some people on. But everyone is helping put up the silos.

Please, so your wife slept with your 1st cousin? You have some problems bro. Did you tell your Aunt? And how have you been faithful for two years? You can’t get mad at someone doing to you what you did to them. I would stomp a mudhole in my family member and leave her for even messing with a family member. Thats your only legit fight is that your family betrayed you and your wife got with your cousin. But her cheating on you, well you did that to her so those are offsetting penalties. You cant be to mad and they probably started while you were out in those streets, so you can approximate that he has been doing your wife for a atleast 2 to 4 years. She really kept it in the family…LOL

Hey Guys!

Not only do I believe it, I experience it everyday! Its pretty fascinating once you open your eyes to the reality of it. One thing I’ve managed to pick up in life is that in any type of relationship, there will be issues. Some of these issues are cause by deliberate exertions and some are just due to the clashing of differing opinions. However, when there is a decision to move on you gotta leave it in a blessed place, regardless! You know, no different than leaving your job in a blessed state by submitting a “two-week” notice. Its just considerate, unselfish and plain right.

A good name is to be preferred more than wealth!…but, shoot let me have them both! lol

@YesSheIsCute – Been married going on 6 yrs.
@Purple Rain – I figured that much (her doing the same for some time) but with my cousin??? Never been 1 to fight over punanny b/c I only own my “tools”. Leaving the situation is the 1st thought but it’s easier said than done & no I wouldn’t go to my Aunt & get her involved b/c she may already know. May not be approving but who side would she really have. She lets a grown man live with her rent free and at times brags about him – mother’s love I guess. But that’s my delimma, I believe I’ll get through it. Any lovely young ladies on this blog wanna help me get through this (even)???
